What comes with a VIP ticket to her show? I want to see her and I might get a VIP ticket but I'd like to know what is included before I spend the money.

How can you all say that MTWBT is no longer a thing or that it morphed into HBTB when we don't have a.) a track list b.) any idea on what either song sounds like? I'm just excited to hear some official news and have something to look forward to. I can't imagine we will go too much longer without some solid album info too. I'm eager to see if this font carries over into the album cover and most importantly would like a to see the track list.

I'm still in a weird place with Honeymoon. I like the song but something about it is off to me which is strange because its usually Lana's music like this that I really fall in love with. I'm not a huge fan of the lyrics - I actually liked them more just on paper than in the song which never really happens with me. It's just kind of a pretty song and thats it. I'm still excited for the rest though.

There's more to it than just the repetitiveness, as that is not something that is new to Lana (so I don't think she's any more lazy than she ever was). If anything, the wordy choruses are more of an anomaly than normal among her released work. Sometimes she can make it work. AKA, for example. No one would dare call AKA repetitive the way they do UV, but think about it.... Paradise had: I don't know why exactly UV's choruses sound so much worse than these. I'm not worried about HM's choruses being repetitive if she can somehow do so in a way that isn't tiresome like UV was.

There's always a possibility MTWBT will be like Cola or Blue Jeans where the title is mentioned once or twice where it makes sense and that's it. If it's done like OTTR or Carmen then I wouldn't mind it being in the chorus either but if she's pulling a GNR with the chorus then no thanks. Now that I think of it she does sometimes title songs with words that aren't in the chorus but are elsewhere so it's possible. Video Games, Gods and Monsters, and West Coast are a few examples that come to mind.

It sounds like she either said August or started to say October and then quit. I didn't hear July at all.

I guess so it just seems so counter productive. Speculation is cool but specific dates/events seem to make so much anxiety. But you are right, its gonna happen no matter what.

We really have to stop speculating dates and getting ourselves hyped over nothing Its exhausting. This is the first real "era" I've been on any fan board and you guys make it much more difficult than simply knowing its coming and continuing with life until there's more news.

I think the tempo of it will be something like Cruel World. I definitely think the song will be faster than Oh Say Can You See or Video Games but obviously not too fast.

@@evilentity Thanks for your reply! I kind of hoped you'd chime in since you are so familiar with the facts. I totally agree with everything, right down to the speculation that she might have been hacked twice. We'll probably never know more info about those five songs since its pretty much in the past but I feel like our speculations are probably pretty strong but who really knows. I'm really eager now to hear the overall sound of Honeymoon and see if maybe it continues the idea that she had with these songs. Obviously nothing supports or suggests that but nothing says its completely impossible either so we will just see I guess.

Just curious, where did you read it? Just the way she worded it made it sound like all 5 were for the album but I'm really open to more info because like I said before, I'm really curious about the circumstances around these songs and what their intended fate was. Sorry for hijacking this thread. Is there another one we can post about this stuff on instead?

I don't think so. She had been talking about her new album in January of 2013. They leaked sometime that summer, I think July 2013 and after that she said she didn't know what to put on the record anymore because of the leaks in an interview, implying the leaked songs were intended for her second album. I also am very hopeful for the song, I think it'll be lovely based on what we have. Lana always has a way of pulling through.

Yes, this. I don't think Ultraviolence as we know it would have existed if those tracks hadn't leaked. We'd have gotten a more Paradise-ish second album instead that would have had those songs and maybe more that we don't know of. I don't even think the album that she had planned with those songs would have even been called "Ultraviolence". I have nothing to back this up, obviously, but we do know those songs were intended for an album and we do know that they have a cohesiveness among them that doesn't match up with any songs that ended up on Ultraviolence which makes me think her initial direction for her second album was much different before the leak. She even described the second album as more spiritual lyrically, which matches the lyrics of those songs but obviously doesn't for the ones that ended up on Ultraviolence. Sorry this is so wordy. Like I said before, I think about those songs a lot and why they never made it on an album and what an album of similar songs would have been like because they are the exact kind of music I always wanted from Lana.

Please let Honeymoon be the album that should have been, the one that all of those songs were supposed to be on. I think about what could have been with those songs all the time.

This is what I'm thinking and hoping. The September date is too close for her to still be in the studio and she talked a lot about the production process with Kieron as though it happened in the past, so a lot or all of it should be done by now.

Television Heaven, AFFA, Hollywood, and Driving In Cars are some unreleased I'd like to see be done live. I feel like if SK is popular enough to be done live then AFFA definitely is.

Definitely Flipside, I really want that live. We already have Yayo live, but that was so long ago and I'd love to hear it now that she's improved so much.

Stuff like this is really annoying. Why even bother with the trouble of making something like that.

Something about the IG snippet and the way she sang the live bit seem off to me as far as them going together. The live bit makes the song seem a lot more upbeat and bouncy while the IG snippet sounds so serious and slow. Unfortunately the IG snippet is probably more reliable and the slowness seems more like the lyrics. But then again, snippets can sometimes be misleading (and often intentionally). Also as a side note, I always imagined the musical atmosphere of MTWBT being like that of West Coast. I don't know why but the imagery she talked about and just the sound of it make me want it to be that way which is weird since WC is super unique among her songs.
