I'm so glad to hear! We actually have one of those in my town so I totally need to go check it out. I'm dying for a physical copy.

Honeymoon - Pre-Release and Discussion Thread
Anthem replied to ilovetati's topic in Retired Pre-Release Threads
I was so proud this thread didn't have any posts for like 3 days. -
C'mon guys I think he gets it now I'm pretty bummed out about how the physical release played out here in the US. I haven't even tried to find a CD in stores because I'm pretty sure there won't be any until April. I want the white vinyl too but it is also backordered so who knows when that'll be taken care of. I'm just glad we even got a 12" because the box set would've been a pain to play.

The wording was a bit off but I already explained this in another post if you read back.

Not just the wrinkles, theres something in her expression too. Just something about the photoshoot has an older (read:mature) feel to it versus the beauty queen, vintage hipster look she had during BTD (not implying it was bad either). I just see her moving towards something else right now. Something more elegant and grand. And all just my opinion too, obviously. She really, really looks like she is from another time period in this one.

That new photoshoot for Another Man is kind of what I imagine when I think of Honeymoon as an album title. -
I love this look on her. She is starting to show her age some tbh, but doing so in a lovely way.

I think they meant that kind of sound/lyrics rather than a leak. I mourn daily for the album that could have been, but I don't truly think Honeymoon will be like that. -

He only produced Bel-Air, Yayo, Old Money, Big Eyes and Young and Beautiful right? If so I don't get the hate for him, those are lovely songs and fit the surreal/dreamy thing more so than most of her other songs? -

Careful, last time someone predicted Lana lyrics ("big eyes big lies") they came true -
Ellie Goulding You are original, cute yet fierce and have a thing for rockers. Although you have the look of a girl next door, you pout like a model and sing like a diva. betterthanthat.mp3

Us lucky southerners will get to see Lana at the tail-end of her tour, so hopefully IF she introduces new songs during the tour, as she did with UV, we will get the hear them. Not that I am banking on it. Last time she came to Atlanta outside of Music Midtown (that I sadly didn't go to) was on the rumored release date of UV, so I hoped something special would happen and I actually think she cut out a song that night so the opposite. Her best outfit was Atlanta imo. Anyways, who all is going? I have a seat that is slightly to the left and right behind the VIP people. I'm quite excited even though I don't know what I'll be doing this summer so idk how close to Atlanta I'll actually be. Last time I didn't wait to meet her after the show, so if she stays after again I will be there this time. Seeing her last May was one of the highlights of my year, so I hope this show is just as good.

How weird, I get a wet vibe from it because of the almost dripping noise in the instrumental. But she does say the words "sand" and "gold rush" so maybe I love the new interview by the way, I like hearing about how she got her start.

Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth criticizes Lana in memoir
Anthem replied to Deleted User's topic in Latest News
She saw how much attention she got from mentioning Lana in the memoire, saw it fade some when it was taken out of the final version of the book, and is refueling the fire now to get attention again. This is literally pathetic. -
Random: I don't mind Lady Gaga at all, but when people call her Gags I find it way waaay too hilarious. I saw the Oscar performance and was impressed. As someone who doesn't/has never followed her it all, it actually got my interest.

Savages isn't that deep or clever but its no worse than listening to one of the billion cheesy songs about relationships that are out there. At least there is some variety to it. The melody is killer though and I like the instrumental (same for Immortal). I still love Froot a lot, but I also really like I'm a Ruin and Solitaire. I'm also very curious about a video for Gold. I imagine a glowing neon lagoon when I hear it. The only song I'm not crazy about is Better Than That. It kind of clunks along and doesn't have a nice flow really.

One day... one day I'll stop watching TS videos and listening to random songs from 1989 because they piss me off for hours afterwards.
