This album could very well pick up where NFR left off but I don't think it will be NFR 2.0.
I do think NFR offers some clues as to where Lana is going. I think that she is going to go deeper into embracing her folk roots. Lets remember that the second half of LFL was very folk influenced.

Lana should do a Christmas album, but original Christmas song and by that I mean depressing songs about the holidays!

To get that kind of praise from Bruce Springsteen is a huge honor. I have seen a Bruce in concert and I can tell you that he is a man of all men. Bruce is one of the greatest musical storytellers of all time. To have Bruce behind Lana is fantastic. Bruce believes in Lana and if he believes in her, then Lana has every reason to believe in herself. Bruce has had a huge impact on Lana as a songwriter and Bruce can be proud of the huge impact he has had. Lana in my opinion is the greatest American musical storyteller under the age of 50. 
 
Woody Guthrie inspired Bob Dylan. Bob Dylan inspired Springsteen. And Lana has been influenced by the three of them. That is good company to be in. 
 
So with a new album coming soon (I know we can’t be sure about the date), Lana is walking down a path which has been paved by the best in the business. I know Lana will never let them down.

anyway y'all really need to learn how to develop some patience. consider yourself lucky for how quick it takes for lana to come up with a new album every 2/3 years cause there's some people who waits AGES for their faves to drop an album

So is the solution not to vote for Biden or Trump? Is the solution to vote for a third part candidate which will then get Trump re-elected? Is the solution to not vote at all, which in turn allows Trump to win again?
 
If you don’t make a decision in this election, someone else will make the decision for you. And if Trump gets another four years, it will be ugly.

Four more years of a Trump will ensure that we destroy this planet for good because he doesn’t believe in climate change.
 
Four more years of Trump means that the rights of LGBTQIA people, non-whites, non-Christians and women will be threatened.
 
Four more years of Trump will put immigrants at risk of deportation.
 
Four more years of Trump means the death of NATO
 
Four more years of Trump means that Russia and China wins.
 
So do you really want to sit this one out and let Trump win again? Get out and vote and vote for Biden because that will get Trump out. This isn’t a marriage. You don’t have to like Biden. Also, no candidate is perfect so not voting because of that is frankly irresponsible.
 
You will not get it exactly the way you want. Getting what you want is for babies, not adults.

It’s none of our business. How people chose to grieve is there business. Some funerals are done as more of a celebration of the person’s life.

I’ve met them at AES, so it is kind of relevant. All I know is they were thrilled to work on Lana’s material.

Well if she has that kind of relationship with her label, then that’s good. Hopefully it’s still working out that way.
Lana is pretty consistent with releasing music. She has never gone longer than two years without releasing an album. Other artists have much bigger gaps.
