So I got super curious about coulorizing screencapes/shoot from West Coast and the results are decent - 



 
Odd Bits UV and Non UV related- 

So I put the UV album cover and a few more from the shoot through an app that coulorizes black and white photos. The result is pretty solid, so I thought I'd share. 

I don't have time right now to read the whole thing but i really like this piece so far. I like how they pick apart her influences and what devices she uses and it makes me happy to see since it's sort of rare to find people give lana the time of day for that sort of stuff.
 
I also agree with the point about a lot of lines, specifically the "they say i come from money but i didn't" are too self indulgent. It's one of my biggest problems with violet. Poetry is inheriently self-centred, but what makes allen ginsberg and walt whitman good poets is how universal the language begins to feel. Lines like "people always accuse me of being rich but im not i swear!!" and "im funny when i drink (btw i swear ive been sober for 7 years)" are just plain uninteresting at best.
They might be good topics for her to continue further on and delve into, but when she just puts lines in it like that it ruins the flow and makes violet harder to enjoy

The fact that almost (ones that have more than two braincells) the entire fanbase agree collectively that she has gone 'n' fucked up should give Lana food for thought.
 
Honestly she so far removed from her fanbase rn its worrying. I'm finding it harder and harder to defend her actions or at least try to understand why she's acting a certain way. She use to be genuinely smart and unique. Now she's become a shell of her former self. A vapid, LA so called baddie, tryhard parody of what she use to be. I wonder how the younger version of herself would react on seeing what she has become BC sure as eggs are eggs she'd be disgusted.

The thing that I don't get is... Yes, the rhinestone mask looks really pretty & matches her outfit and I get that she likes it but why doesn't she just wear it ON TOP of a normal mask?? Like all this drama could've been so easily avoided.

So funny how this girl asks her to read "Sportscar" & Lana looks at her like "wtf is wrong with this hoe" 
This makes me realize how LA people are a bunch of emos stanning  LDR just cause it's "cool". Jesus Christ you don't even know the right poem's name.. So dumb

Considering she just wrote a song about him on NFR (the weather changing and Flipside references were a dead giveaway imo if London wasn't already), I wouldn't be surprised if they still talk occasionally. Before NFR was released, I personally think they have hooked up again at some point when they were both available to do so - maybe many times throughout the years. I think she had recent leftover feelings for him and possibly for each other in some way, but that's just my speculation.
