More complaining about wanting certain eras back....just go listen to one of hundreds leaked songs from those eras then. We have access to so many material, years worth...appreciate where Lana is now or tune out already. She's not making another BTD or UV. Give it up

I also want to add that Ultraviolence is my favorite album, and I would love an Ultraviolence 2.0 with the lyric content of recent albums, but it’s worth noting that her and Dan weren’t necessarily the best mix. And I think the production on UV is something only Dan can really do, which is why there’s nothing else like it in Lana’s discog. Dan mentioned how much of a pain it was dealing with Interscope, and Lana has mentioned how they used to fight in the studio, I can see why both of them wouldn’t want to make another album together again

While I prefer “old Lana” and her veiled metaphor and storyteller approach to the writing of her first 10 years, I also appreciate the honesty in these last few albums. With Dragonslayer leaking it really made it clear that Lana, is aware she isn’t Lana , if that makes sense. She’s spent the last three albums deconstructing the enigma. And I love to see it!

Someone should do it and start commenting on Sky’s posts asking when she’s gonna turn the album in or if they’ll just have to greenlight another Halsey project instead

Not only 1 person showed. Looks like years of blaming the label for lack of traction in her career hasn’t payed off for professional victim Sky Tonia Ferreira.

The good news (?) is we’ll probably only have to wait until next summer for her to go around to magazine publications to talk about how she’s still trapped but a new album is coming soon! So let’s celebrate that I guess?

I kind of agree about 13B, it sounds a lot like Cinnamon Girl now that I think about it. Could easily fit on NFR.

I posted about my BPBP (album version) appreciation a few times. It seems like a lot more fans are coming around to finally appreciating the album version, and that makes me happy. Such a 180° from the demo and I so appreciate the message she wanted to convey with the album version. <3

The numerous versions of the same song thing makes my brain hurt. We should have a thread or a section exclusively for songs that haven’t leaked at all, if there’s any known working titles.

But fun thread regardless! Will be following

Gaga sold out to become accepted in Hollywood after ARTPOP flopped, but bigger than that I think it was losing her original team of managers that did her in at that time.

That’s why she started pandering to Middle America and turned into this non-problematic, non-offensive figure. She didn’t even publicly say anything about the shooting that happened at the gay club in Colorado recently (IIRC) when before, she was very vocal about things like this.

I’m happy she’s had a successful transition to film, it suits her and she can still make good music for soundtracks (like LBR, ASIB was better than J/C and performed better than them too)

But I think her pop career is over. Chromatica felt forced. She didn’t really seem into it, just going through the motions while promoting. Songs are half baked too. I hope she puts dance music to rest and does something more true to what she feels next album cycle.

Hold My Hand was abysmal though. But like I said Middle America, so it did what it was supposed to do I guess
