  2. she better record serial killer with emile haynie plz n thank u. does anyone know if the prerecorded track was different for serial killer?
  3. thissssss is everything she needs to be doing. i'd like lana a bit jazzier, but same soundscapes and orchestral feel, with complex lyrics that are surreal and passionate.
  4. i thought she said "all right, you caught me" edit: i'm 99% sure she says "caught"
  5. is she talking about labor day in the beginning (i think she is) http://womens-fashion.lovetoknow.com/Why_Is_It_Bad_to_Wear_White_After_Labor_Day i know it's one line, but if she is referencing labor day, then it's the most poetic way of stating it. god bless this song. does anyone know what the "mermaid video" line is referencing? it cant be about the video for this song becuz she's writing about something she did in the past? i want more lana music to be written like this plz(with better production quality)

  7. i casually say "all i wanna do is get high by the beach" in most conversations now. usually a response to "what should we do?". then someone suggests going to the beach and then im like nah the river is cool too. (also all i wanna do is get high by the beach)
  8. im not gunna say shes declining but i feel like her AKA demos are waayyyyy more creative than anything off of Honeymoon. does anyone know if she still writes with a guitar? cuz she should.
  9. i really love the line "talk til we both turn blue" cuz shes like saying, talk until we're tired/tired of talking and talk until we're both sad about it? its like literally the only time i like her saying blue on honeymoon i am 200 percent happy we got this footage. i enjoyed it with freak. kinda made it a bit darker for me? like before i saw it as like come to cali and party with me but this video is like come die with me? probs my fav lana video.
  10. i keep flip flopping on this album. do i like it a lot, or do i hate it???? i think her artist statement for honeymoon is "all i wanna do it get high by the beach"??? shes being like yeah all i wanna do is get high and sing about different guys and not care what anyone else thinks. i feel like in every song she kinda references time, love, dream like states/getting high. i do not care for the lyrics on this album, but i do feel like she accomplished what she wanted. she just wanted to have fun, get high, and sing. which i truly appreciate. lolol cuz if i had money i'd just wanna do silly albums and get high all the time. duuuuuuhhhh. good fer her??? idk. even the word honeymoon is kinda like a drugged up state of mind??? idk idk idk im a bored loserrrrr also i like when she sings about lemonade. its tacky and surreal???? lolol.
  11. get her outta pop. i want spooky orchestral grunge with trip hop beats and complex lyrics about how surreal life is

  13. i want all the itunes previews as hit clips but also i love cassettes cuz the music always sounds more nervous and i like that DOT COM so i def bought this
  14. i hope he got high there(HBTB) also how is lana gunna drive fast without her carz also my boyfriend said she shouldn't be such a road dog
  15. AKA forever. For K part 2 sounds like a Nirvana with Britney Spears cowritten song type dealio. Pretttyyyyy baaaaaabbbbyyyyyyyyyy. I really love the Pawn Shop Blues demo without the lame bridge(no man can keep me together, been broken since i was born). the bridge makes that song on the album sound cheesy. also i love most of the AKA demos. #ugh wish we had Kill Kill's demo.
  16. Top 5: Off To The Races Mermaid Motel Florida Kilos This Is What Makes Us Girls Shades of Cool Worst 5: Honeymoon(the album) Young and Beautiful Old Money Big Eyes Guns and Roses
  17. its in a different key and sad girl is slower? i matched them up right after mtwbt came out (but didnt save it) i think lana needs to stop workin with rick asap
  18. i think she is comparing herself a cult leader by saying "put your white tennis shoes on and follow me" kinda being like if you follow me, you'll have a clean start
  19. i think she should slowly rerecord some old songs with a new producer, put out a small EP(4 or 5 songs) in a year or two, while working on an album with new material for a few years(like 3 years). that way she is working, learning (going back and studying older work can bring new perspective, she can weave her new thoughts into her new work), making money, and whatever.
