Why are some of you in this thread trying to psychoanalyse a person that you don't even know?

QFTC was just cringe inducing, she didn’t think before she posted.  I don’t think she’s racist absolutely not, but she was not aware of what she was saying and the implications it has. Just tone deaf from her, then she did an awful interview where she made comments about the insurrection that was a complete mess.  But I don’t think it’s done as much damage as she thinks, her core fanbase is solid….the media forgets eventually.

but i don't think its something she needs to go for. she's already respected, she's got...
-legends (bob dylan, joan baez, even priscilla presley lol) shouting her out and giving her props
-her industry peers who like her (lady gaga, katy perry,  kali uchis, jhene aiko, taylor swift, etc....male rappers seem to really like her too lol)
-a generation of new alt girls (billie eilish, halsey, etc) who have said they're inspired by her and openly fangirl (or bite her style *cough cough* lorde)
-ten grammy nominations, plenty of awards, born to die has charted for like 10 years straight, etc etc
 
i think she has some kind of underdog mentality but it's not really warranted cause she's not an underdog...she's respected, she's acclaimed, she's accomplished. there's nothing left to prove

tbh i fell in love with cinnamon girl from the snippets and where someone put the song together on youtube - it was on repeat like 24/7 now i barely play the song

i also think the snippet she posted of bb (“give me children take away my pain”) was perfect. it left me wanting more without spoiling the song. 

Unpopular opinion - snippets get on my f***ing nerves you end replaying them over and over which gets tiring by the time the song actually comes out.  This time I wouldn’t be bothered if we heard nothing, but I’d like an album title and more info soon. 

Remember when we got a "White Hot Forever" snippet and it was someone singing it with the Yes To Heaven melody?

my personal wish would be some vocals like dealer, california, heroin, dtwd bridge, ww – emotional, powerful, and strong, with a great range literally and of volume and expression
 
and if i’m REALLY reaching for something that is possibly unattainable, a touch of her live versions of heart-shaped box and roadhouse blues even though that was like 9 years ago .. but she had it a bit in dealer and other songs so i KNOW she can do it at least as of 2017 so bring it back lana just a little bit 

I'll do some predictions cause there's nothing to talk about: 
- 10-12 tracks 
- Drew as the main producer
- A Rick track (probably an unheard outtake)
- Only a couple Jack tracks (some 2019 outtake and the April piano song)
- Sonically in between HM and BB (same singer songwriter vibes but with more lush orchestral production)
- Neil photoshoot
- 2 part album trailer. One by Rich Lee with some kind of storyline (similar to the LFL one or that Interview Mag video) and another using some random footage filmed by herself and Chuck with some snippets.
- 3 MV: Two high-medium budget ones with Rich and a more lowkey one filmed by Chuck or just arranged by herself
- Song titles: I have no idea but I'm sure some of the captions from the HM posts have some clues (whether it's lyrics or titles)
- Release date: Definitely something in the summer (at least 1 single). I can see the album coming in September or October 
 
This is not necessarily entirely what I want but what I expect from the little we know about the album and my overanalyzing of her Instagram posts 

as long as they're better than cocc visuals then i'm okay... the album cover... the white dress mv with the pirate ship (???????)... the way none of the good b&w neil photos were used for anything....
 
i hope the visuals are just beautiful and dramatic and flowing and graceful and heavenly 

yeah 1 or 2 high budget serve would be wonderful but at the same time, at this point of her career, i feel like lana doesnt need to prove nothing visually with "music video" glams anymore, I mean, i will take high budget music videos any day but I feel like I can still love her projects regardless.
Man, still praying for a visual album // full length film like Florence's "The odyssey" from her tho. Tropico was THAT BITCH.
