My top 10 albums of 2023 would have to be- 1. Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd- Lana Del Rey 2. Portals- Melanie Martinez 3. the record- boygenius 4. This Is Why- Paramore 5. The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We- Mitski 6. Gag Order- Kesha 7. Silence Between Songs- Madison Beer 8. ATUM- The Smashing Pumpkins 9. Unreal Unearth- Hozier 10. Good Riddance- Gracie Abrams I didn’t include any of Taylor’s re-recordings or any deluxe editions to previous albums. Off the top of my head I really couldn’t name that many albums, so I looked up a compilation and there were a lot of AMAZING albums this year. A lot of smaller artists came out with fairly successful albums. 2023 was a good year for music

Oh Say Can You See is so underrated. Putting my opinions aside as much as I can, I definitely think it’s one of her best tracks from that era

Agreed 100%. I definitely see what people mean when they say it seemed rushed and sloppy, but it’s a beautiful album. WFWF is an absolute masterpiece, we got Thunder and Living Legend which are arguably some of her best work in recent years. The whole album is just so comforting to me, and projects this warm energy

I honestly really liked The Beguiled, I thought the opening scene was beautiful, but it definitely wasn’t her strongest film. The casting was great though <3

I cry every time I listen to Fingertips, so I have to mentally prepare for listening to the entirety of the album It’s very cohesive though and obviously beautifully done. I will say I never listen to the interludes unless I’m listening to the album start to finish
