what boggles my mind is the breathtaking beauty of Neil Krug’s work and yet how plain his album artwork with Lana is the past few projects. Lana’s in charge, obviously, but even still, how could you be so familiar with his work and not want to maximise his talent? You can keep it simple, by all means, but let’s have colour, composition, Hell—some life to the images! 

i guess we figured that henry would be a fairly sparse, stripped back song - personally im fine w that because i love nectar of the gods and sirens etc - so insiders calling the song a little boring doesnt surprise me much. what im most intrigued to know is if henry is reflective of the whole album, or is it one of the most stripped back songs on the record? 

Sorry but "Boring" is being an insider in this era. Sometimes it's too ridiculous, just look back and see how it should work.

i heard this concept today and i’m in love omg lana please do something like this 

Gonna make a random yet simplest album track name: Wild

she should go for an album of power and melodic ballads such as let the light in, with a few pop-ish songs in the middle 

some of you guys are doing wayyyyy too much calling this her worst song 

This argument would make sense if they were saying anyone who listens to the new song’s a horrible person or w/e, but saying you can’t call out (or even discuss) an artist working with an alleged rapist because you eat meat and own an iPhone is just a very dumb & surface level take . I still listen to a lot of music Dr Luke produced cause I recognise that being 100% morally correct with the media u consume (or literally anything you consume) is near impossible because at the end of the day your money’s probs going into a horrible person’s pockets, but that does not mean you can’t still call out bad behaviour lmao.
