I don't know anything about Ethel lol im sorry if I offended u... I understand ur point though but Ethel's reaction just seemed a bit extreme. I would think that as an artist you'd be honoured to be compared to a grammy nominated artist who completely revolutionized alternative music. However, I'm sure the comparison would get old quick so her frustration makes sense.

can you imagine the chaos if he didn’t confirm this and other insiders didn’t mention it, and then the track list came out and there was no American Whore to be seen. there would’ve been blood shed

it kinda was though, we thought she was going to announce the single for friday but she surprise released it that same day

We only knew about the lead a couple of days before tho (and if it wasn't for Lana saying she was going to announce something it would have been almost a surprise) 

If they made her announce the preorder 3 months in advance they will for sure make her release a single before the album. The question is when 
 
She has time to even put out another 2 songs (one now and another leading up to the album release) but maybe since she's probably releasing it without an announcement we'll have to wait until the same day she puts out the single

you didnt offend me, dont worry. i think ethel did feel honored at one point but yeah the comparison is VERY VERY tired as its been going on since she released golden age ep iirc... and its just getting worse now that shes getting more fame and more attention and more fans who agree with the comparisons and think its okay to enforce them when it really isnt.
