there's nothing wrong with them being hypersexual and not every sexual song has to be filled with gentle metaphors hidden in a pop song, sex can be dirty, raw and vulgar and it's absolutely normal and it doesn't need to be delicate, mysterious and sensual 
 
with that being said i dont think doing "trashy" sex songs is the problem here but actual song structures and how repetitive and lazy they are
 
it's the lack of creativity

It's terrible, just like Slut Pop 1. Boring repetitive beats, every song sounds the same, it's lazy, it's not hot or shocking or whatever she's trying to be, it's dull.
 
 

she needs to let go of the bimbo genre or whatever the hell you call this type of music bc it's clearly not working for her  the explicit vulgarity trope is so oversaturated in most medias that it does the complete opposite of its intention. the people disliking the album don't dislike it bc they're prudes or can't have fun, they dislike it because it's been done before. better. for a woman who prides herself on pushing the edge of pop music and being in control of her sound, her music sure is souless lmao. a shame because she has a lot of promise

I think she's still trying to emulate OG Ayesha, but the contrast is stark. Ayesha thrived and pulled off that style back in the day, she was authentic and had personality and the lyrics were sexual but clever.
 
The instrumentals on some of these songs are actually pretty good , but Kim seems very uninspired (sort of like Ayesha is nowadays - which is a bit ironic given their apparent feud but alas) and lazy. Most of the lyrics are corny and repetitive and the songs are so short/unfinished too, like WTF. 
 
It feels like Kim is resorting to this hypersexual porno aesthetic for an attempt at shock factor and to gain traction on TikTok or whatever. However, it doesn't feel genuine to her, nor does it seem like she's even very invested in producing quality music with it...

I'm glad she was able to, and publicly, be honest with herself about her issues and her mental headspace and just her thoughts on what has been going on. 
 
Its so hard when you are a creative / business type person, your identity really becomes your work and so then your self worth really becomes defined by your success which is a really vicious mental space to be in. 
 
She definitely needs to stay off twitter. Just post her music updates and close it. And its easier said than done but obviously she needs to get off of hard drugs. 
 
She is so extremely talented its so frustrating that she has all of these obstacles in her way.

Well. Its out. It has the same problems as Slut Pop 1 honestly the tracks are just too short. Half of the "album" could have been combined into one song. Its just one verse repeated over and over on a generic beat most of the time. And that verse is barely a verse, moreso 3 words of generic sex/cuss words. Just completely void of creativity from the lyrics to production to subject. If your music is repetitive the part that repeats should be good.
 
 
This!! Me and my friend freaked out hearing a Kim song on the radio for the first time. It felt like we were at the beginning of watching an artist get the recognition they deserve. And now... we're at Slut Pop Miami.

Icy is my #2 most played track of all time on Spotify like I think I'm allowed to speak my piece on Kim's music good or bad. The source of my negativity resides in the fact that I want her to do the best she possibly can in the first place. That doesn't suddenly make me a 'hater' or 'troll' I'm just as much of a Kim fan as anyone else and I'll speak my piece.
 
That being said its definitely true that a lot of us, myself included, should stop focusing on the negative for now and wait for the album to actually drop and judge the music itself.

We said when Kim tries to do this, she does it distastefully. Especially compared to her peers.
 
Her attempt at this sucks. Its generic and boring. Its too forced and tryhard. And again unlike her peers when she does it, she doesnt bring anything different or unique or exciting to the music. Its just a more generic watered down version of other artists hypersexual music.
 
When Slayyyter released Throatzilla I didnt bat an eye. The production is unique and just downright killer, the lyrics and wordplay are clever. Slutpop is what happens when you tell a middle schooler who just learned about porn and cusswords to make an album about sex.

It sucks tbh that her boyfriend really has to ride the coattails of her fame and insert himself in her music.
Literally none of us want to hear his shit tbh, like at all. But I wouldn't go so far as to say he's like harmful towards her or anything.
He knows she's in a bad spot mentally, abusing alcohol and whatever else, and goes off the rails especially on live which is dangerous career-wise. He's prob just making sure shes not doing anything stupid. He's many times stopped / distracted her on lives when she starts derailing.
