January 9, 2022: I spent the day at Laguna Beach in California, wearing a yellow sundress, having a picnic on the sand, enjoying the coolness of the sea waves on my bare feet, and reading The Great Gatsby, That evening I stayed at the top of the cliff above the beach overlooking the bay until the sun set and the stars came out, It was a beautiful view. I laid on the bench just watching the stars for awhile and thinking about home ... California looks a lot like home, even though I'm not from the U.S. It was getting cold, so I draped a blanket all over me and ran back up to the car feeling like I was a teenager again.

It's so bad Like others have pointed out, even if it were true it, it doesn't harm anyone in any way (But we all know it's transphobes commenting, so they feel differently ) It's so ridiculous that people will spend their time inspecting such clips hoping for a glimpse of something. I remember when Obama was in office, the comments about Michelle Obama were utterly disgusting, so it's not just singers, it's all women. I hate it. Funnily enough I don't see the same with male celebrities (but maybe I'm wrong) That has to be satire, but it's made me curious, does Lana really hate olives?

Why is this something almost every woman (celebrity) has to deal with ... I've seen these comments about Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, now Lana

Some kind of in-between would be nice. I quite miss A&W and — controversial opinion — the slower, new songs like Candy Necklace (a standout at Coachella), and DYKTTATUOB. Live, I prefer these to The Grants. But Peppers and Fishtail add so much energy I hope they stay.

I haven't got over the disappointment of having (nearly) all the DYKTTATUOB features at Hyde Park ... and ... no songs sung together. But seeing Lana and Tommy rehearsing together gives me hope that it really might happen this time!! even though I'm not there But I'm dreading having to watch it through the worst quality live stream ever. 2023 was hell for livestreams.

I love Bridgerton! It's such fun. But I haven't really forgiven them for not doing an orchestral version of Off to the Races for S2 E2, which is literally called Off to the Races. On a serious note, Lana has so many songs which would translate beautifully to orchestral covers. There's someone on IG (I forget his name) who does covers of modern pop songs on violin who has done a few of Lana's and they are beautiful. So I'm not sure why they chose SOTB. But still, great news!
