  1. It’s a balance. While I don’t necessarily want her to create a totally stripped down album along the lines of Blue Banisters, too much production and intervention from people like Jack sometimes overshadows her talent. It’s like, don’t fix something that’s not broken. Having said that, A&W is definitely a top track for me. It was different and complex, but still felt like an iconic LDR song. I would like more songs with orchestral arrangements that compliment her voice and lyrics

This just started playing on our playlist at work. It’s lowkey grown on me a bit. The best is when someone recognizes Lana’s voice and runs up to tell me
  3. That’s the same cover of the one I found at Barnes & Noble today! I guess I got really lucky I noticed Amazon has both right now, in limited quantities, but the alt one is a little more expensive.
  4. I’d see her approach me and I’d be trying really hard to not have a complete breakdown. Honey, I’m really not that big of a deal. It’s okay to have other idols. And I would respectfully disagree
  5. I hope she also means maybe a little less produced, as parts of OB felt like outside influences overshadowed her raw talent. I still really liked the record, I’m not knocking it. I just think there was filler that didn’t add much to the project as a whole. I wouldn’t mind a stripped down album like Blue Banisters again. A raw showcase her lyrics and vocals at a more laid back pace. She’s evolved as an artist. It felt like NFR was a turning point in her art and I think OB is another one of those turns. A bit of a reset and she seems to be very inspired recently. More than I can recall in several years. Even though my initial reaction to a “country” record was cringe, I’m really warming up to it, if it were to happen. Especially after hearing her recent covers. I really do love all these interviews too
  6. Finally a performance where not a single person can say a single damn negative thing about it
  7. Yeah agreed. I was only half paying attention after her interview, but it all seemed so random. I get the idea of having several different performers, but it didn’t flow so well. Would have been better off going with an hour long LDR Christmas tribute to Elvis. I bet he would have liked that better too
  8. Thanks for the super fast turn around on these. What a wonderful night, a beautiful performance and a charming interview right after. Bringing tears to my eyes Also saved me the effort of uploading potato quality ones to YT lol
  9. I wasn’t sure where to post this… it seems like it’s been out for a while, but does anyone know about this comic book sold by Urban Outfitters? https://www.urbanoutfitters.com/en-gb/shop/coldfact-comic-group-lana-del-rey-comic-book It’s only on their UK site and it’s just 8 pages, but I kinda wanna buy it…
  10. Assuming her phone screen on the left isn’t doctored in the photo, this is legit
  11. I just came here to suggest this. It would be awesome to have a sad icon, laughing icon and a thank you/trophy, to name a few.
  12. You never know with her. For all we know, there could be a new release dropped in the spring, or not for another couple years But in all seriousness, I don’t think we’re getting a new release prior to next summer, unless fantasies come true and we get an unreleased album…
  13. It’s great to see that she’s planning more European appearances next year!
  14. What are your Lana listening habits? Do you listen to her every day? Is there a particular album or song that you play religiously? Do you listen to her more or less compared to other artists? I listen to music every day and Lana makes up a chunk of my music library, but I try to sprinkle it across, so that I’m not overplaying. I can think of a few artists in the past that I played too often and it kind of diminished the effect. I bet I have more of her songs in my library than I do for any other artist and my interest only continues to grow, but I do listen to other music too! There are certain songs of hers that are my go-tos when I’m in my feels. Sometimes I will sit down and listen to an individual LDR record from start to finish. I should do this more often… Once in a while I’ll just put her entire library on shuffle and listen to it for hours until it’s been all or mostly covered. That’s what I’m doing today since it’s been a while. When I had a long road trip to the last show of hers I went to, I did the same thing. It really set the tone and mood of the event. Something that inevitably happens when I play her full library on shuffle is that I’ll rediscover a song of hers that I initially overlooked. It’s a nice change of pace. I know that she’s only had nine official releases, but it feels like so much more than that. Maybe it’s because she’s evolved so much as an artist and that her library is quite diverse. I don’t think there’s been a thread like this before? But someone let me know if there is one.
  15. Where am I now? I’d say I’m an obsessive fan, but not in a bad, cringey or stalkerish way. Rarely a day goes by that I don’t think about her, listen to her music, relive fond memories of seeing her in concert, etc. I always considered myself a deep thinker, straying a bit from the mainstream. Her music speaks to me in a way that nothing else can and she fits my vibe just right. Anything I’m feeling or going through, no matter how extreme, there’s a Lana song to help me get by. It’s like I had a void without her and she’s filled that void. I often dreamed about seeing her live and until a few weeks before it happened (her Rogers, Arkansas show this past August), I thought the day might never come. Seeing her three times helped fulfill that dream, but more importantly, helped turn my year around. I was going through a huge funk this summer and it snapped me out of that. In a way, I feel greedy and privileged, but I’m not a selfish person. I hope everyone who hasn’t, gets the chance to see her. That starts with Lana hopefully playing more gigs across Europe next year and in other places too.
  16. Even though I’ve been an LDR fan since 2013, I found myself buying CDs less often by that time and didn’t become a “bigger” fan until a few years later anyway. Lust for Life was the only CD of hers of I’ve bought and interestingly, it was one of the last CDs I’ve purchased, period. I stream all of my music now, by I did buy Ocean Blvd on vinyl. It’s more for an aesthetic, but I’m debating on getting a proper record player at some point. If I do, I might be more inclined to purchase some of her other records on vinyl. I still might buy them anyway, lol… I like the artwork and aesthetic of vinyl. I should save up and focus more on seeing her in concert, than buying more physical media that I may never play… the struggle is real

    Help, I can’t breathe
  18. She had to think for a while to answer that one. Why do I feel like maybe she didn’t know how or want to answer the question, so she threw out the first name she could think of but even that doesn’t make sense, so who knows
