They have regular carboard gatefold jackets that have the center cut out (die cut) so you can see the picture disc.

They're absolutely not cheaper to manufacture, but they are more of a plastic novelty

Since the day uv dropped, I always dreamed of an album of Flipsides and Cruel Worlds made by just her and Blake

There will probably be other variants of the album, and this one sounds like it might just be a lil "exclusive" for the folks on the mailing list. Looking at all the releases from the big pop girlies as well as the ones who are B and C tier - there's a store exclusive, there's an UO alt cover, there's a limited picture disc, there's a B&N exclusive, there's an indie exclusive, there's some "only available in the EU" variant, Spotify version, etc. etc.

I received an email right after shipping that the signed poster and lyric book will be shipping separately from album.

A friend I have who also djs got into the album listening at the venue and said its a hard club record with some 2006 cassie r&b moments

Where did this rumor come from that Atlantic is delaying the album and forcing her to do a long rollout? What indication do we have from her that resigning with Atlantic didn't get her a better deal in regards to releasing her own music? For all we know we could be getting the album within a month of the single?
 
I feel like I've actually really enjoyed the slow rollout and the trickle of information for once. It's been refreshing after almost a decade of leaks and instant gratification. Charli works quickly and has an insane output of one-offs, features, and remixes compared to her peers, I feel like we can trust her to move at a more than reasonable pace.
