Dear John, let nothing from Ultraviolence leak. Like, this was legit me when BB and co. leaked:
Oh, dear John
I am heartily sorry
For having downloaded these
Because I fear the loss of sales
And the pain of a flop
But most of all because I love her
And I want so badly
To hear new records

I kinda made up a story that goes with my soundtrack. So Lana's this girl living in NYC who yearns for freedom. She goes to Las Vegas to be a go-go dancer and she meets this gangster guy who is her "boss", they get into all kinds of trouble and she goes crazy and then kills him spur-of-the-moment. Then she's on the run and goes back to New York, to Fordham Road, where she used to live. She commits suicide by jumping off a building and then she is reincarnated into someone in the year 1949.
Yeah, that was my story...

Let's not forget the fact he ripped off the title of the song he contributed to the soundtrack ("100$ Bill") from Lana. -

***FLAWLESS & SUPERPOWER
Since I can't find any Lana plagiarism in either of these videos, I'm just gonna go ahead and assume they must be borrowed from the "Dark Paradise" and "Cola" videos that never materialized. @ULTRAVIOLENCE Watch these. One of them may be the closest thing you'll ever get to your precious "Cola" video.

I had this totally weird dream about Lana a long time ago I just had to share:
It was just before Tropico came out, so I guess my subconsciousness was working with it when I was sleeping. I dreamt I was at her concert, and she had the whole tropico team going on. She was wearing an organic looking bikini while she was grinding onstage, flower crown and all. Then suddenly I find myself backstage with her. She's sitting in this industrial looking chair... I am all star struck, and dumbly say that all her merch is going to sell out if I stay with her for too long. Then she gets out of her chair and says "don't worry, honey" and slide open the wall, revealing a rack with cigarettes. She hands me a package, and I look at the box. She had designed her own brand of cigarettes It was brown, like old paper, and on the box was a picture of her Tropico poster. But the cigarettes was called Tropical, not tropico, and before I can take a smoke Barrie appears and drags me with him. I cry because I have to leave Lana, I remember being seriously choked up. Then Barrie and I leave the room, enter a bathroom, and then we have fucking sex in the shower! Me and Barrie! And it was getting seriously hot too Then I wake up and go all "wtf" and I seriously want a smoke, even if I only smoke when I'm going out.

I had the strangest dream last week.
So it started off as me volunteering in Africa at a school for poor children, then all of a sudden Lana showed up and all the kids started screaming! Lana came up to me and started cryinv saying "you've helped these kids so much" so we start talking and I asked her about her unreleased music. The look on her face changed to a really pissed off lana and she told me to "get the fuck outta africa" so I got out and then woke up LMAO my dreams are weird

Oh heres another one:
I snuck into a movie premier and it was full of celebrities. I went and sat down next to Kim Kardashian. (God knows why, i dont even like her). Me and Kim joke around for a bit chatting, and she says "You're not that bad Becca." Lana del rey's friend made the movie and they both came on stage. He randomly shouts that Lana is engaged and pregnant. Everyone boo's. Lana treats it as a joke and laughs at first, but then wonders why nobody is happy for her. She gets sad. She prepares to leave and comes up the stairs to the exit, where im sitting. I show her the empty seat next to me and she actually sits down. Im bursting with happiness and it shows in a (mug shot?) in the paper later. ( My mouth was literally wide open, smiling. It was actually pretty funny). I feel sympathetic towards Lana and say "Im sorry that had to happen to you." As it turns out, she isnt engaged or pregnant, it was a joke. But people still could have acted happy she said. Lana's friend decides he doesnt like her and starts randomly shouting crap from the bottom of the cinema. I hug her. The movie starts. (It was literally just a horse running in a field.) It ends. Basically it was terrible so I throw an apple at his head and suddenly everyone is booing and throwing apples at him. We run out and the dream ends.
I only know all this because i wrote it all down after i woke up haha.
That was hilarious reading it back

It'd be interesting to see how Ultraviolence performs. I feel a lot of Born to Die was sold off the back of Video Games which was a massive hit, culturally, even if it didn't exactly ignite charts. Lana has an obligation to fulfill, the label is not going to let her suddenly go 'death metal'. Whilst she may talk about it being "unlistenable" this seems to be more lyrically-based than auditory, some people have taken this too literally. She's going to come back with something similar to her original song. Ride seems to be a song to sell Paradise, as it sounds foreign to the rest of the work on the album. The label will keep her in check, as much as we want to think she has complete control, the label will force her into doing certain things. She's definitely not Madonna, and even Madonna has a boss. Even if we think of Lana has having freedom, she has enough freedom to be the artist she wants to be without the limitations that plague artists of great success, such as the Gaga and Katy, where they have a niche to fill. She's lucky in that respect.
She'd be foolish to completely change her sound, and I think that even though Dan, or Emlie, or whoever, is working on this album we underestimate that Lana herself has a specific sound and she's savvy and knows (and wants to sell records) that it'd be catered to HER sound rather than whatever producer she's working with. Even Ride with Rick Rubin is one of the most Lana-esque tracks. I'm most interested to her Giorgio Moroder but ultimately, I think we know she's stubborn in the studio. But Interscope, and every label, want her to sell.

No, it's because Lana just became commercially successful and they want to keep that momentum up. BTD came out in early '12 and while we like to boast it's still selling, it's selling late. She had initial success with Blue Jeans and Video Games then there was backlash, she looked dead in the waters for the US market until the remixes came out. She was then marketed abroad mostly where there wasn't that backlash. Now she's more successful due to the remix and Y&B. Popular opinion outside of the LB universe has started to accept her. She's not on the level of Gaga or Katy Perry or Beyonce, etc but Universal wants her to be. They see promise in her and they have to compete with the other majors and their star players. She's allowed to be creative and herself to a degree, but the label is going to axe things that they think won't sell, plain and simple. It is a business and she is a product whether or not that is pleasant to hear.

So when Lana says 'Mary prays the Rosary for my broken mind (So don't worry about)' she mean's Barrie's Grandmommy right?
But then Lana was an Eve/Mary hybrid in Tropico, so like does this mean he's singing to Lana, and has a Grandma fetish?
