What an ungrateful bunch. Save your judgement for when the album comes out. I don't understand how people can be so constantly dissatisfied.

    Hey kids
I've been drawing Lana for years now and I've shared some of my drawings as status updates here but I've decided to start a topic where I'll be posting them for you to see. Any comments would be appreciated.
So here's the newest one, inspired by the LOVE music video and the song itself:

It's crazy to me how well the Love music video is doing. Still getting over 1M views per day after 2 weeks. No other LDR video ever had this much buzz when released.
I honestly think the song still has potential to be a sleeper hit. Gagie's Million Reasons even dropped out of the charts at one point but with some good promo it became a top5 hit, it may seem like Lana and her team have already forgotten about the song but I believe they're just following the original schedule and promo may come at the end of the month and the song still has potential to be successful.

For anyone wondering successful doesn't necessarily mean for it to be a mainstream and for Lana to be a sold out. It means the song is well received and gets praised by the general public.
Yall so concerned about Lana being happy, but wouldn't she be happier to see her music is being appreciated after being so heavily criticized in the past ?

So far, my plan is to release in a new 'Love' theme this month. Then, the whole site will be upgraded & I will release multiple site themes for a user to choose from upon the release of LDR5.

Lana has the potential to be MUCH bigger.

Shes limiting herself purposely that's why people are complaining.

It's frustrating seeing talent and potential being wasted.

    Best American Record

Damn this is a good song.

In Lana's art, America is a symbol of God's creation, from the heavenly East Coast to the earthly West Coast, with the nostalgic 1950s-1960s period representing the garden of Eden/Paradise. In the beginning the music of creation unfolded harmoniously under God's benevolent guidance. But the ego of man tried to be too much like God and "write the next best American record", which was an obsession that led to man's extreme self-assertion, separation from God and soul, and falling out of universal harmony.   The soul sings:   My baby used to dance underneath my architecture   The architecture here is the celestial firmament, the spiritual realm of the soul. The baby is the soul's individual expression, the ego, which went down to earth, to the material realm. In the beginning the ego was full of joy and energy, derived from its dynamic contact with the soul. This means that man's spiritual and material sides were in a healthy balance.   To the "Houses of the Holy"

"Houses of the Holy" is a Led Zeppelin song from the 1970s, where the singer courts his girl to let him take her "to the movies, to the show". It is a sexual song with spiritual overtones and also with references to Satan. The relationship between the ego and the soul has a masculine-feminine dynamic, which is reflected in human sexual relationships.

    Smoking on them cigarettes

Turning white into black (innocence into experience), burning with passion, breathing the spirit of life.

He was seventies in spirit, nineties in his frame of mind

Although influenced by the 1960s hippie ideals, the mood of the 1970s turned from the hippie emphasis on community toward individualism (the "Me" decade). This individualistic trend continued in the 1980s and received a new boost in the 1990s from the collapse of communist governments in Eastern Europe and Soviet Union, even as the boundaries between countries and cultures further weakened and unification of the world accelerated. Individualism is the nature of the ego, while collectivism is the nature of the soul.

The ego did need to distance itself from the soul - but only for a while, in order to build the mental and physical structures that the soul could infuse at their reunion. But the ego became "obsessed with writing the next best American record", for fame. Its focus on self-aggrandizement and self-gratification isolated it from the soul, from others, and from a larger reality. Man became trapped on earth, ran out of energy and ran out of life.

I actually agree with all of this. There is no effort. All we get are shaky videos from several festivals, hardly any inteviews and barely any interaction with her fans. All other fanbases get so much more.

But in the end, I am not surprised. This fanbase as a whole is messed up. I don't blame Lana's team for not pushing her to come out of her shell or Lana herself being remotly interested. Whenever they browse this forum they will find plenty of posts where her OWN FANS don't want to see her on TV or hear her music on the radio. When there is no demand even from your supporters, why even trying? Who will be here for it when her fans aren't either?

Either this fanbase is packed with lowlifes with suicidal tendencies who hardly care about themselves or the rest of us just simply needs to be more vocal about wanting to see and hear more from Lana.

Tim Larcombe really needs to come back, Lana worked with him on some of the best songs she's ever made (especially OTTR and G&M).

    [Verse 1]
My baby used to dance underneath my architecture

To the Houses of the Holy

    Smoking on them cigarettes

My baby used to dance underneath my architecture

He was cool as heck

    He was cool as heck

[Pre-Chorus]

But you were so obsessed with writing the next best American record

But there was nothing left by the time we got to bed

    Baby that’s a shame

You were so obsessed with writing the next best American record

You did it all for fame

You did it all for fame

[Chorus 1]

You did it all for fame

Tell me how it treats you now

You did it all for fame

How does that taste coming out

You did it all for fame

Baby, how's life treating you now

    It's over

    [Verse 2]

My baby used to dance underneath my architecture

He was seventies in spirit; nineties in his frame of mind

My baby used to dance underneath my architecture

    We lost track of space

    We lost track of time

    [Pre-Chorus]

But you were so obsessed with writing the next best American record

But there was nothing left by the time we got to bed

    Baby that’s a shame

You were so obsessed with writing the next best American record

You did it all for fame

You did it all for fame

(You know what I'm talking about)

    [Chorus 2]

You did it all for fame

Tell me how it treats you now

You did it all for fame

How does that taste coming out

Now that you lost the game

Honey, how's life treating you now

    That it's over

    Baby, how you feeling now

That I told you

    We're through

    [bridge]

    It's you
All the roads lead to you

    Everything I want and do

All the things that I say

    It's true

All the roads lead to you

Like the 405 I drive through

Everynight and everyday

    Ah, ah

I see you for who you really are

Why the thousands of girls

Love the way Bill plays guitar

Ah, ah

    [Chorus]

You did it all for fame

Tell me how it treats you now

You did it all for fame

How does that taste coming out

You did it all for fame

    Honey, how you feeling now

    That it's over

Baby, how's life treating you now

    That I told you

[Outro]

Honey, how is it feeling now?

(Honey, how's it feeling?, Honey, how's it feeling?)

    I told you

(Honey, how's it feeling?, Honey, how's it feeling?)

I told you
