Beyonce is a great example of taking a decently good singer who left a girl group and turning them into a success story by hiring the best innovative song writers stylists and pr personel all in the right time frame.    
 
 
Beyonce without all of that is just another singer.
 
 
Lana has been dedicated to this for 16 years pre fame and during and i took this very personally because the main reason i love lana is her dedication.  we all know why she isnt at the level of beyonces in the public eye because she does not fit the current trending mold. lana is a rare gift to this time in music because without her we wouldnt have a key female figure in the industry representing quality, lyricism, and melody. She also writes all her own music and doesn't need the fancy additives that beyonce needs like backup dancers (i felt like she had those two girls bc she was trying to keep up with trends, i hope she doesnt have them anymore) , big arenas, promo, because she as a whole is enough. She is a singer. not a performer. theres a difference. she doesnt need all that crap. she is everything she needs to  be. and sadly the majority of today's young audience (who based on analytics dominate the consumer rations in album sales via itunes and cds) do not understand her concepts and/or have no interest because they cant dance to it.

this poor girl, her label is sabotaging her career and she has like not a single good cover artwork. the rankin photos are plain but they could have made it work if they didn't chose a photo where she looks like a fish or some sort of reptile + that awful photoshop job and cheap looking colour gradient making it look like some tumblr edit.

I actually hope that she'll forever stick with Rick. Even if we get another Honeymoon at least it would still be beautiful. I think he's one of her best producers. But she works well with him & at least another for that extra kick or 'spice' in the album. Whatever you prefer.

a more easy/hard path (idk) would be to google each artists name with every director to cancel names out and the director that remains without having worked with any of those artist would be Lana's director, since their video hasn't been made public.

The website's casting director is Kasia Szarek, the woman who posted the casting call for a new MV back in July-ish.
 
They also list their directors  basically, i've scrolled through the music videos list and almost all of the directors are listed on the website. That means, the director of Lana's new MV is likely on here too - im gonna search through their works and see how Lana-esque they are/the type of content they produce. Will be interesting to know, because directors massively influence how a music video turns out.

If we get a song with lyrics like OTTR I will die! I'm praying! But I hope not all of BTD. It doesn't seem much like a inner clarity. But more like an inner step back.

If I'm correct I think he heard more than 2 demos so, it's easy to see that not all if the songs on the album are piano heavy. Yet, he also had the demo of the single so he does know the progression from demo to final.
