her new album, jubilee, came out not too long ago and has earned a lot of critical acclaim. i'm excited to see where this record takes her!

and?  they are purposely made this way and that adds a lot to the atmosphere. the heavy reverb is very common in many alternative genres, these are not intended to be pop songs

this makes me deeply sad.. posing in bondage (polyvinyl edition) is my all time most streamed song and both of the singles disappeared from everywhere for NO REASON

I just finished reading her memoir, a recommendation by a friend. It’s was so, so good, please read it if you can. I’m just listening to Psychopomp now, first track made me cry lol. I only remember seeing Jubilee on Spotify when it was new, I remember listening to some of the tracks but not all of them. Are the songs on that album sad as well? I’m not sure I can handle it, haha, since I’ve lost a parent too.
