idk maybe they just needed to get her debut out this year and then the next release won't be stuck in development hell since they'll have a stockpile of finished tracks

 

I asked Jeff on twitter if it was getting a physical release and he said to his knowledge it was.

I thought the same about "Boys", good to know.

 

I have a suspicion that it's the "New New New" or "Drop You" snippet from her soundcloud bc Jordan said that snippet was originally on the album and Boys is one of the few unheard songs that could be more upbeat.

 

When I further looked up "Omanko", it seemed to me that it was more like the Japanese equivalent of cunt than just pussy. Like with added offense. She don't wanna sell in Japan I guess

I want to say that there's no backing out now that it's a month away (or a month from my concert, in fact), but I thought the same about the I Will EP which was supposed to come out this week until just a few days ago But yeah I don't believe she's ever had a tracklist and a date before!

In her career. Like earlier performances make it sound very rocky (see SXSW, I believe the first performance of the song), but later ones sound very Rechtshaid-y.

And the album... is... finally... happening.  I nearly died when she announced it. I'm counting the days until we have it, but I seriously wouldn't feel any frustrated if it got delayed, I'm used to it already.

 

The single was probably delayed for a week because Britney's single was announced and, truth be told, no-one would talk about Sky when the hype is around Britney. I am glad we are no longer getting the EP because of the album but it makes me sad that (as long as we don't have a deluxe version or international editions with bonus tracks), "Pretty Dull"/"Can't Say No"/"I'm on Top" aren't getting released. I would rather have the studio versions of these songs than "I'm Not Alright," for example, considering we never listened to that so that'd mean we'd be losing nothing.
