I don't know anything about Taylor and have only listened to like 3 songs. She has country songs? I might like that. Something about Taylor's music just doesn't connect with me.

Her first two albums - Taylor Swift and Fearless are country oriented. Speak Now and Red have country elements too.

So I might be a lil high by the beach right now (but not on a beach), but I’m listening to a LDR live performance of Candy Necklaces and it’s kind of hitting me. 
 

Is it just me or does the performance seem kind of off? Like not in a bad way. I can’t tell if she’s nervous or just very emotional, but there’s something definitely going on here. 

Maybe it’s just too much (emotion or whatever) for her to perform live? Trying to rationalize why she rarely plays this live.

This is gonna be her year, she's done and achieved so much in 2023. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that she's no longer in the shadow of Dua Lipa, so Ben, Ed and her team have been able to do more for her.
