Great album, could’ve used zodiac as a bonus track tho. Also would’ve loved if vb was a bonus track or a standalone single.

What I would have done differently

 

shaved off 2 minutes on both Margaret and Candy Necklace

 

added Zodiac 

 

Spread out the interludes, maybe do AW-Judah- Zodiac- Candy- Jon. It’s still pretty much back to back interludes but I think that would have helped the pacing more because interlude- a song that’s two minutes too long- interlude really drags side B out

It's hard to describe what I feel a year after the release of Ocean Blvd. Sure, most of the songs are good, some really good, but the whole album somehow doesn't give me the same as the previous albums, it's her most experimental, I think. Something is missing, but I can't say exactly what it is. Anyway, happy first birthday!  🎈
