i don’t think “bonus track” means anything honestly…he probably just put that in the title to indicate it’s a “bonus” from his candy necklace-jon batiste interlude session with lana. i don’t think it means it’s only on specific editions or formats.

When I learned it was a bonus track, I thought that it probably didn’t fit the overall vibe of the album but was too good to be left out.

Jon said after they’ve recorded the song for ocean blvd, they’ve decided it would fit better in his upcoming album as a bonus track, it wasn’t really intended for his album, that’s probably why

I asked Jon on his Insta live to sing a part of Life Lesson and he thought about it and said “….2 days…. Just gotta wait 2 more days guys, it’ll be worth it I promise you”
