What's the difference between record/song of the year? I don't get it.

Apparently record of the year focuses on the production, artists, engineers, etc (basically the whole production behind the song) while song of the year focuses mostly on the songwriting

EDIT: This is easier to understand if you imagine a Beyonce song (for example) being nominated for song of the year, it wouldn't be Beyonce who accepted the Grammy, it would be the person who wrote the Beyonce song

Ocean Blvd title track song deserved nominations too...CG-HM-2.jpg Honestly, Lana should've been more random and she should've sent every single Ocean Blvd album's songs into different categories. Honestly, in my humble opinion, Lana's orchestral songs deserved even a nomination for Best Orchestral Performance!

GOLDERBY voting says Taylor and Miley are going to be the winners of the main categories; I like them both, but I think neither of their albums really deserves a Grammy, the only thing that is making the Midnights era memorable is the fact that it's a mix of all her eras and as for Miley ESV is a pretty MID album.

Lana is my favourite singer, but I am 100% impartial when I say that A&W should win SOTY. According to the Grammy website that award is given to the song with the best lyrics and if you look at the nominees A&W really stands out and by far.
