NFR was a masterpiece also in part because of the political climate… the entire album is basically about reflecting on your life as the world ends kinda. So maybe we’ll get that again!

Lana has always “sent the wrong signal”… name dropping Harvey Weinstein in Cola, talking about getting drunk with her girlfriends as a teenager, glorifying abuse… like.

 

But also… really? Country music is not inherently racist, in fact the origins of country are to be found in black culture. And she just released a country song featuring a black artist. Of all people, Lana is the one who could pull off a good country album

I was very obviously referring to the criticism Lana received from her songwriting not giving my opinion on it. I don’t think Lasso would send a bad message the same way I don’t think UV sent a bad message

.... its always sending me spiral when i saw someone calls Lana's music glorifying abuse - i mean you can hate Lana all you want but whenever i see her name next to "romanticizing  / glorifying /etc" abuse / violence, it's just my trait at this point to get into a fight lololol
