So what? Just bc someone is pro-choice or a liberal/democrat doesn’t make them a good person. It’s like you guys constantly look at the semantics of what we’re saying and ignore the elephant in the room. Nobody cares that her husband is a republican or a conservative… But being with someone that shares so much hate against minorities on his social media will make fans question her stance. It has nothing to do with her being a woman, this IS LANAboards after all…

i’m not trying to ignore the elephant in the room at all, i’m trying to say that jeremy is not a reflection of lana’s political views. the things that man reposted on facebook are disappointing, but can we really attribute the things he thinks to lana’s thoughts? i’m trying to be objective here. not everything jeremy says or believes is immediately lana’s shared belief. that was my entire point. i understand it’s disappointing because lana is associating herself with him and he thinks that, but that doesn’t immediately mean lana thinks that way too. i mean, would that fit her character that we have observed for 12+ years now? i get and respect what you’re saying though, but i just have a different view of it

I appreciate your comments. But I do feel like transphobia has become so normalized today to the point that people “expect” republicans to be hateful. Imagine if he shared Pro-Nazi posts or posts insinuating Women of Color should be beaten to death for using the female bathroom. If he’s that open online with his hate I can only imagine what he says around Lana. I mean there is that video of his daughter calling someone the N word. I wonder who she learned that from.

I am part of the community and I do get it. I’m just saying that her politics aren’t his and people are complicated- I don’t think her marrying him is an endorsement of his beliefs. And Lana has always been a very contradictory person imo. 
 

not trying to say ppl don’t have a right to be disappointed, only that nothing about her choice in partner is surprising or new to what she has shared of her worldview.

There’s this tarot reader I really trust and he did a reading on Lana and Jeremy. Long story short she’s everything he wants and he’s everything she wants. Happily ever after. He likes that she’s sucessful and does what she’s told, she likes that he puts up with her crazy, is kind, “self tortured” and quite the muse. Also that the more people talk about them, the more it will bond them. He’s the fantasy she always dreamed of, now no one knows if she’ll outgrow it or not.

if that's true, i am happy for her, it sounds wonderful to have someone to be so compatible with, someone who accepts you and loves you for exactly who you are <3
