Album was previously called Lasso and now it isn't but Chunk used the lasso tool to put the text on the cursed background and you can even see where she cut it out

I genuinely don't understand how anyone could think this is the cover. For one, the ratio doesn't even fit an album cover  two, she might make a lot of random choices for covers, but she isn't going to use a selfie.

 

The album is 8 () 6 months away, so I'd assume the album cover isn't even shot yet. She did the exact same thing with Blue Banisters and people freaked out (rightfully so, that pic is cursed) then too, and then she surprised us with some of her absolute best covers.

Re: the ratio, it's pretty easy to just extend it to make a beige square. Not really smthn I thought about tbh, because as I said - so easy

It's not that dissimilar to the COCC ult cover or even the DYKTUOB cover in terms of it just being a b & w picture of her

But you're right, it's possible it isn't the cover. But it's also possible that it is. It's not like she's going to tell us because she never does

With a little bit more effort, this could've been a beautiful side profile portrait like the ones they used to have back in the day. And if you're gonna go sepia, go full sepia, not the half ass tone that this is

It looks like Chunk put a B & W photo into Photoshop, put a sepia layer over the top and then Lana said "tone it doen" so she set it to 30% and said "done!". It is neither here nor there and I hate it

Why are we bashing this cover? With Ocean having an iconic cover that was professionally shot and now this being joke made 

like she’s allowed to switch it up, I think it’s fun to imagine her with Chuck just playing around with the camera and a shitty online tool to make a cover that represents the atmosphere of the album.
