Damn this album is landing like a dud. There’s nothing exciting about the era. Release a video of the 7 you got or something, sis.

 

My guess is she wants to extend the era for the tour, but yawn…long rollouts are tiring these days, especially when you have nothing outstanding to keep the fans satisfied. 

 

I say this as someone who ordered all versions of this on vinyl and will buy that empty cd box lmao. The music could be chill but do something related to the album sis.

i have the gut feeling her management overstated Lorde's influence and thought they could just get away with this messy album rollout cause she's famous and her comeback was very hyped but i don't think they understand that just bc a tweet about lorde goes viral every 2 months it doesn't mean she can get away with no promo/no rollout

Lorde dissed people that says the album will be a basic Jack Antonoff record on the new The New York Times interview lol:

 

"I haven’t made a Jack Antonoff record, I’ve made a Lorde record and he’s helped me make it and very much deferred to me on production and arrangement. I know that there are certain hallmarks of what Jack does and some of those things I really love and some of them I don’t like. And I beat them out of the work that we do together.”
