After sitting with this album and listening to it several times I’ve come to the conclusion that I really like it BUT it does need about 2-3 more hard hitting tracks to balance it all out, since the first 5 tracks on the album kinda eat up the second half. The second half of the album gets carried by Striptease and 24hr Dog to me (even though I like basically every song on this album). She already confirmed that a deluxe is coming so perhaps the deluxe will tie it all together.

so for example, people are comparing girl feels good to ray of light era madonna and room of fools to bjork. so people are saying it like this: "she wanted bjork nachos"

 

a different example off topic from twigs would be an ethel cain and tori amos comparison who both have songs called amber waves. so: "ethel wants tori's nachos"

I havent even gotten to wanderlust. I keep replaying all the tracks before it, they're so god damn fire. As a fan of ray of light and bjork's early work, this is so my vibe

 

AOTY already imo. 2025 is done
