Anyone else think that Lana hasn't really moved on from her Born To Die era? Maybe the sound/production will be completely different. But I think she will always sing about this guys no matter what, I would expect lot of sad songs in Ultraviolence about her "old man", "daddy" just done in a different way...

Personally I hoped for BB to be in the album bc NEW VERSION. HOPEFULLY WE'LL HEAR IT LIVE. SHE'LL TALK ABOUT IT. Same with Kill Kill, crossing my fingers.

But she actually said in an interview last year that her themes have changed for this album.

I love Cola, but it's like the least personal song she's written.

Literally a pic of her stepping out of her car like "hey im home...oh this an album snap? kay...did you get it?, k, whats for dinner?".

 

Its as expected really, stripped back as much as possible. I'm ambivalent to it, but i think fans of her image from the last 2 years may find this era very jarring visually because shes really stripping back. .

I have yet to see confirmation for the cover. It seems pretty LQ.
