Personally, I just finished with Victora (it was really good and touching) by Knut Hamsund, and today I finished the prologe to the Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring so I'm gonna start reading the actual book before I go to bed today! Can't wait, the movies are so good, and the book is always better! 0 Quote last.fm

I never really got into them for some reason. Can you believe the Hobbit is going to be THREE movies btw!?

You should read it!This summer I read the Hobbit and the Silmarillion, and they were pretty good! I'm no huge fan of the way he writes, but the stories are so capturing. The last I read was was that it's going to be two movies! There only were a rumor that it was gonna be three. But I think even two movies are a little too much, hahhahha. 0 Quote last.fm

They're actually not, really. It's much more of a typical romance than is advertised, especially the very fairy tale ending. It's not a rumor anymore, btw, 3rd one is coming out in 2014 lol XD I just can't at that....I agree about the stories. I did really like The Hobbit. It was magical

Arzi 1,982 Posted September 5, 2012 The Hunger Games, I'm going to start Mockingjay and three books in spanish for school
PrettyBaby 2,220 Posted September 5, 2012 The Hunger Games series was amazing, all three of them. A new favorite author of mine is China Mieville; his sci-fi/fantasy heroines are quite interesting. Embassytown is a wild look at how language can function (sounds boring, but it's not -- I love analyzing communication!). Un Lun Dun is a Young Adult book, but grownups can enjoy it too; it reminds me of Alice in Wonderland, but funnier and modern. I'm addicted to Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire series (Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood), and I devoured Deadlocked in two days. I'm in the middle of The Sookie Stackhouse Companion -- worth checking out; the new novella at the beginning was quite good. Another favorite read this summer was Divergent by Veronica Roth. I am next on the waitlist at my library to get the sequel, Insurgent, and I am too excited.
