The "I love remixes" version

1. Don't Start Now (Live In LA Remix)

2. Cool

3. Physical (Workout Remix)

4. If It Ain't Me (feat. Normani)

5. Pretty Please

i haven't really listened to her since moonlight edition came out but i'm relistening to the standard future nostalgia and it's such a good album :true:

the moonlight edition ruins it :bebe:

if it ain't me + that kind of woman are good songs but they don't really hit it on the same level the standard album does

Remove boys will be boys, add if it ain’t me & that kind of woman you have one of the greatest albums of all time.

Spoiler

LITERALLY

Spoiler

But it’s already great! Can’t wait for the Valentine’s Day show :ma:

This Cool remix works great for a remix album:

Cool we're making tracklists for FN again :flutter:

  1. Future Nostalgia
  2. Don't Start Now
  3. Cool
  4. Fever (feat. Angèle)
  5. Physical
  6. Levitating
  7. Love Is Religion
  8. Pretty Please
  9. Hallucinate
  10. That Kind of Woman
  11. Love Again
  12. Break My Heart
  13. If It Ain't Me
  14. We're Good

I wanted Love Is Religion as the closing track but the final songs wouldn't lead to it lyric-wise so I placed it in the middle instead.

Fever is a bop, I really vibe to it. And it's the perfect bridge between Cool and Physical :true:

i spent way too much time on this out of pure boredom, but this is my (most likely) final tracklist for a proper Future Nostalgia: Side B

  1. Ball and Chain
  2. Firestarter
  3. We're Good or Better This Way, either works
  4. Guilty
  5. 25/8
  6. Talk About It
  7. (That) Kind Of Woman this is the TKoW demo version
  8. All To Myself
  9. Act of God (feat. Ant Clemons)
  10. What I Like
  11. If It Ain't Me (feat. Normani)
  12. Secrets
  13. Love is Religion

I feel like Future Nostalgia was so perfectly curated that making a cohesive Side B is impossible

This  :toofloppy:

Like god there’s so many songs that fit the theme and i love to bop to (if it ain’t me, 25/8, firestarter, delicious, love is religion… dare i go on?) but GOD is it hard to find a place for them in the tracklist

I like some of the outtakes more than a few of the actual album tracks but damn, the album was put together SO perfectly that even those songs that I don’t love fit in just right. it really was crafted to perfection

tbh since levitating (feat. dabigot) i feel like she's been going back to her self-titled era ways and i really think she needs to start raising the bar a bit more :bebe:

agreed :toofloppy: it seems like the entire concept of future nostalgia died and she just started doin random pop shit with no correlation to the theme of the album

like the run of vids from title track-physical-break my heart- even hallucinate were INCREDIBLE

but everything after that… :/ (minus fever, fever you will always be famous)

Fever is great. She just did We're Good to break up the disco/dance inspired tracks. Cold Heart is doing great and she sounds her best on it. I wouldn't exactly say she's gone back to anything.

i mean i feel like she kinda did in the sense of like, caring less about cohesiveness and stuff and just, putting out songs for a hit

fever was very obviously majorly for french promo (and it was a great song so it worked wonders)

cold heart is good, has a huge target audience and sounds great, but i don’t really include that in like, the era tho

we’re good was eh, idk

she really disrespected That Kind Of Woman

took away the punch that the demo had, AND failed to make it a single w a video

not to mention not releasing it on FN it would have fit perfectly

like a lot of the outtakes are great but so many of them are about the same thing so putting them together is so repetitive in lyrical content that it’s not worth it

Fever IS great and I wasn't really talking about it in the first place cause the Levitating remix didn't really take off until after Fever was released

We're Good sounds like it came from self-titled which isn't necessarily BAD but just very basic and she could've broken up the monotony with something a bit more interesting

Cold Heart tbh is shit :bebe:

also unpopular opinion...

i like club future nostalgia more than the original album :bebe:

NO BECAUSE SERIOUSLY

the moonlight edition disappointed me SO BAD.

BEYOND mediocre choice of songs (like there was so much material and she chose THOSE?), cover was soooo ugly - should’ve been something from the original shoot, if anything, it ain’t me w normani should’ve been the single instead of we’re good but whatever

btw there is nothing wrong with the original album it's honestly perfect but i almost feel like it's TOO perfect?

club future nostalgia has just the right about of natural human imperfection in it to boost it even more

plus i'm a sucker for some 80s & 90s club music what can i say :makeup2:
