The playlist is like ashort compilation of my favourite Lana songs (well, at least most of them. Ride, Diet Mountain Dew, Carmen and Brooklyn Baby are missing, but they just didn't fit into the playlist) and unlike my unreleased playlists, it's not really build around the titel song, I just liked the phrase (how Tropico of me btw). I tried to  include my favourite "transitions" with this playlist, like the one from Cola t Blue Jeans to National Anthem  or the one from West Coast to Florida Kilos to Million Dollar Man or Lolita to Pretty When You Cry, I also pursued he ideo of having FMWUTTT as the closer track and Cola as the opening.

So I updated my Ultimate LDR (mostly released tracks) playlist and here's where it's currently at. I removed some tracks/excerpts from Tropico and added some other tracks. It's really good with a 8 second crossfade between each song. @@SitarHero I think that it works for Miss America, but I'm not too sure about it for Black Leather Moonlight...I think the latter is more to do with nighttime (cause of the title) & the Tropico monologues just make me think of bright, summer days. Up to you though!

so in the spirit of all these recent leaks, i made a playlist/album called NEVADA. i tried to make it a sort of stripped/acoustic version of LDR. of course, we don't have acoustic versions of all the tracks, so i just improvised as best as i could. i also changed the song names.

9. Hundred Dollar Bill (the one WITHOUT the Ruby Tuesday's verse)
10. You Can Be The Boss
11. Diet MTN Dew (the one with the pre-chorus and that doesn't sound like it was recorded on a potato)

You'll notice I'm missing BTD, OTTR, BJ, and Carmen. BTD, BJ, and C simply didn't have demos suitable for this. They were either too crappy in quality or already too Emile-ified. OTTR... well, we (currently) have no demo - leakers, if you want to change this horrendous situation, feel free to at any time 

 

My issue is the 2nd half - too many slow songs and less produced demos. How can I keep it hot?

I like this. I'm thinking you could move Radio to the end, and put something else in between VG and MDM. Maybe Live or Die. Or something from the first half, then replace THAT with either Trash Magic or Dangerous Girl.

I've tried to arrange mine by theme, year, Lana's voice etc. I think I've got them in pretty good order, they sound great to me.
