Cry Baby was probably the first title she came up with, and it was the first one she teased in Jan 2014, but I assume she was trying a bunch of different titles in mid 2014 once she stuck to the "every song has a childhood theme with dark lyrics" concept

When she mentioned Animal Crackers and the other titles on Tumblr, she used a gif of Shirley Temple holding a knife to someone's throat; She probably thought that was the perfect way to summarize the album concept
