It's kinda hilarious that back when the album was released, everybody loved In My Feelings (especially when we found out that it's about G), whereas now people seem to hate it even more than songs like Coachella or Tomorrow Never Came (which are just objectively bad).

late but Bel Air is like top5 production-wise and it's simple as hell but it's just beautiful.

The layered vocals, the piano, the children noise....simple & effective.

Old Money and Young & Beautiful are also there

13 beaches instrumental is cheap too. The only thing saving it is the sound effects. Never realized how much sci fi could help save a song. Made it 10/10 tbh. 13 bibles

And before y'all gays try to drag, sit here and tell me that 13 beaches' chorus doesn't have a basic instrumental.

I'll wait

I think Heroin would've been better without the screaming Lizzy bridge, it should've maintained the calmness and emptiness of the first half of the song. The Lizzy vocals only worked well on Get Free.

Tea of the day. :smokes: :bye2:

Coachella - What’s Eating Gilbert Grape

:rip:

If by not 'up to par' you mean distilling the worst elements that only kind of work in songs, sure. I could put a dictionary audiobook on shuffle and put it to an instrumental of old money and some of y'all would still be saying it's 50/50 lmfao.

Just when I thought your taste couldn't get any worse you go and say that! The screaming Lizzy bridge is the climax and the best part of the song! Wait no- its the climax and best part of the whole album! I can't believe you'd call that tea, that's just tap water boo

okay here's my hot take: whenever I hear ICONIC songs like Rhiannon, Gypsy, or Dreams (all written by Stevie), I mourn for everything BPBP could've been  :toofunny:  Like, I get that BPBP is a Lana song first and foremost and not a Nicks/Fleetwood Mac song, but damn. So much potential.

I still like it way better than TNC tho...
