Lust For Life will always be my favorite Lana album ever

 

such a wonderful, happy, amazing time in my life... and the whole era, from Love leaking to finally seeing her in concert in 2018 will never be matched. 
 

I love how many directions it goes, I love the political songs, I love the colabs, I love the BAR demo, I love it all.
 

My only true complaint is the album cover but it’s the Love video so even that is forgiven.

 

It was nice of LFL to creep back into my 2021 by way of Yosemite! My ex and I were both super hyped about the song and super let down when it wasn’t on the track list..idk if he follows Lana anymore but I hope he heard it.

yes i managed to snag a copy and am so excited! did anyone ever figure out if this was old stock they just found/a new pressing/etc?

I have read a lot on IG and reddit but no one seems to have any additional info

 

I did buy a different vinyl from Walmart once and the picture was of a certain color vinyl but didn't have a description on the listing confirming the color, and when it came in the mail it was just black. But the LFL at least says "color" and "limited edition" soooo we'll see

I was thinking of doing the same thing. I'm just not sure if I should ? I thought a re-release of LFL on vinyl was strange as well

So... if i was speculating (just for fun) of what this record may have looked like around 2016-early17... when she described it as a 16 track record with a more folkier side and a poppier side. What would it look like? And do we know any other outtakes from the album besides those listed on the wiki?

So let me get this correct... you ordered the LFL vinyl from Walmart and it came with an UO hype sticker? Very interesting

What color is the exclusive UO vinyl then? The same coke bottle clear it was previously?

Every album since L4L has made clear how huge a shift Lust For Life was in her trajectory, artistry. Its clearly a transition to her new sound, image, worldview. It’s telling that every album since has had a LFL era outtake ( I include Shadowpuppets as it was made simultaneously with LfL and shares aesthetic and frame of mind.) This would be unimaginable before as every era had a differentsound/style and wouldn’t fit on another record. It shows confidence that Lana has now laid claim to her soundscape and style and isn’t insecurely trying every genre looking for it.

so happy for y’all who’ve gotten their copy! Anyone who got the delay email magically get a shipping notification or something? I still haven’t heard anymore but am assuming they oversold and I won’t get it
