PennCentralFan 269 Posted December 30, 2012 Man I really like this song. When was this recorded? I've done searches on this board and I can't find the information? Was this from lizzie grant aka or BtD sessions? Awesome song. I love it.

NamiraWilhelm 5,050 Posted December 30, 2012 I want to say that our earliest record of it is 2006 when used in a song writer contest, but I'm sure someone can correct that
Beauty King 1,708 Posted December 30, 2012 Pawn Shop Blues is track 9 on AKA Lizzy Grant. I've never really gotten into it, but it's got a good vibe. I could see myself being enamored with it after a few listens.
Leo 463 Posted December 30, 2012 For me, it's Lanas number one song. A true masterpiece..

drewby 9,247 Posted December 30, 2012 She told someone she wrote it when she was 17 that would mean it's 10 years old. So 2002?
Hello Heaven 1,578 Posted December 30, 2012 that would mean it's 10 years old. So 2002? May not have been recorded then but that means it's pretty old. It's strange to think my sister was born that year and Lana was also writing music. I like the song, it's sweet but I'm sorry to say it's probably my least favourite on LDRakaLG. Only because I love the others more.
ExoticFlower 892 Posted December 31, 2012 This is just another song that grew on me, slowly but surely. I love it now, and play it a lot, both the demo and the final version. It's so bittersweet
Gargoyle 54 Posted December 31, 2012 It's beautiful. One of my favourites.
Viva 3,170 Posted December 31, 2012 I love this song so much. Has some emotions Lana doesn't really show much in most of her songs. Sounds tender, honest like really from the heart. Look how cheesy my description is...hahaha...but is what I feel when I hear it
Sitar 22,218 Posted January 1, 2013 Man I really like this song. When was this recorded? I've done searches on this board and I can't find the information? Was this from lizzie grant aka or BtD sessions? Awesome song. I love it. http://youtu.be/56JBatEumGo I highly recommend you listen to AKA straight through, it's really great.
PennCentralFan 269 Posted January 1, 2013 I highly recommend you listen to AKA straight through, it's really great. Where can I get a copy? Are there legit copies out there? I know it was never released as a physical cd, but I assume that electronic iTunes copies can be traded, bought and sold. As someone who has his own copyrighted material and would like to get royalties some day I'm not a huge fan of not giving artists/authors/etc their fair due.

You can take to the request thread under the audio section and ask for someone to PM you the whole lot, or have a search around google for a download. It's not uncommon, so there's no real exchanging going on.
DelRey 35 Posted January 1, 2013 What's most amazing about this song is the lyrics. In my opinion definently one of her best songs, lyrically 0 Quote *Insert awesome and creative photo of Lana with added photoshops effects here*
