Personally, I don't think they sound alike at all. Her voice is a lot weaker, lighter, and younger sounding than Lana's. Although, if she really fools the rest of you that much, someone should give her some fake Roses lyrics to sing too and see how many people will buy it. x

I think when you are really drunk or high to the point your soul leaves your body and you are there but not there you try whatever. Maybe she tried and did for a couple times meth, heroin or/and crack. But not really an addict. Like some already mentioned those drugs make you look like you were hit by a truck after a while. Lana is far away from a truck accident. Well maybe she has very strong constituitions and good genes but the rule is doing such drugs really fucks you up inside and outside. Coke I don't know. A few people do coke for years and are able to control it somehow while most people get addicted and fucked up faster. I guess genetics play a big part when the subject is addiction. Like the difference from being a user and becoming an addict. What I find more intriguing as some also already mentioned is the timeline. If she was making a meth party in her tralier in 2007 and was living in the trailer park from 07 to 09 how was she able to be in London in 08?? Lana's timeline is a grey zone to me. Well maybe she can teleport herself around the globe. Maybe she is the evolution we all are waiting for. Clean and drugged at the same time. She says she is clean over 7 years which makes the timeline even more sketchy. Maybe Lizzy is her twin and she is hidden in a basement at papa's Grant house singing Yayo to herself.

Some of you overreact a bit. Kim is an asshole and a bitter bitch. I am sure Lana knows that

Do you see the size of the problem when they represent 1.5 billion of humanity? I believe the high majority of Muslims are moderate and peaceful, I believe the high majority will never kill or be a human bomb, but I also believe that such silence coming from such large community is scary in many ways. I believe they support the idea of Islamism as a way of life far beyond a religion, as a law, as a culture and as how a country rules their society. The majority will never act on it per say, but one thing is not acting on it and the other is reacting against it. That right there is what is scary

In Chechen over 800.000 people protested against Muhammad Cartoons, protests happened in Pakistan and Iran as well. That in my mind is kind of expected to a certain level since those people live in a actual Muslim country. What surprises me and amuses me more is the intense Muslim population that lives in the West, those ones scare the shit out of me, not the random arab guy in Pakistan who was never exposed to anything different, he doesn't have a wider view.

    The silence is just bizarre

Lana digs a little  suicide here and there so in a very twisted way this is kind of a homage to LDR's legacy

People never come for Rihanna, did you notice? I think is because she's bat shit crazy and doesn't take insults home so women like this hag kind of fear her.

Lana's comments on suicide were a huge turn off to me, I just can't with the things she says sometimes. But regarding Feminism, i can't with Feminists even more. In the western world, feminism and LBGT are nothing more than a distraction that separates society in small groups taking attention of the big picture that is civil rights and human rights.

Hmm, I really wanted to write something more thoughtful after coming home while tryiing to give this woman a chance. Sadly, as many others have stated she is taking it to Twitter for attention.
And it is a stunt to sell her book. She clearly knows that many feminists (the sex-negative ones and the older generation) are not too keen on Lana and that Lana has a big following of fans and haters.

This is actually not bad for Lana. She makes the experience that a petty woman whose hey-days are long gone now tries to make some cash with her name.
And how very petty she is when she calls the men "older ugly guys", where you would think that a feminst is more interest in things that are not so superficial like "beauty". Let's not even talk about the fact that it is not really a comment that stands for equality of the sexes either. Besides that; I really wanna see the good looking guys she has dated over the years. Really eager to know.

It's funny that she is coming for Lana and not women like Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears or Rihanna, but no, she choses to come for Lana instead.
This is something I have claimed all the way when the feminist attacks started on Lana and I have zero problems repeating it: they fear and disrespect a beautiful woman who is talented enough to make her own music and rises to stardom in a field that is more alternative than pop. This is their worst nightmare.

Well, it ended up being longer than I thought, but I don't have the nerve right now to post more.

more amusingly, expecting women who are in the public eye to be outwardly feminist is y'know.... unfeminist.

I actually find it a little funny that she says that Lana is a woman "who doesn’t even know what feminism is, who believes women can do whatever they want" and then derides her for that. Like, yes, that actually is kind of a part of feminism. Yes, equal pay and rights are part of it, but so is a woman being able to make her own decisions. It seems like Kim doesn't know what feminism is.

You've not only missed my point, but you're kind of making it for me. It had nothing to do with any sort of presumption of American cultural superiority. (I confess it perhaps had a little to do with a presumption of generational superiority. ) It had everything to do with criticizing the arrogance of people presuming that someone must be a "nobody" just because they aren't familiar with them, for whatever reason, whether that ignorance is due to age or culture. It's fine if you have to Google someone-- I do it all the time-- but perhaps people should do that before calling someone a "nobody". I certainly would before asserting that a Latin American artist I'd never heard of is a "nobody". Otherwise you end up looking a little like the Kanye fan that doesn't know who Paul McCartney is or the Superbowl watcher (oops... there I go asserting American cultural dominance for real!) declaring this new rapper Missy Elliott is gonna be huge.

At any rate, the person I was responding to is American. More to the point, Lana is American, and even considering the apparent shallowness of her appreciation for her "masters of every genre", she will be familiar with Kim Gordon and/or Sonic Youth from even a cursory reading on Kurt Cobain. Which is why I think this will be somewhat wounding for Lana.
