The album theme is escapism. Almost all of the songs are about her escaping either from a place, a love, her past or even her own reality, literally and metaphorically. It's a nice concept, I love it.

The blackest day is my favourite lana song so this has me very hyped. 

After NFR Lana should re-record A.K.A. or at least go through with re-releasing it

I love when she does explanations like the one she did for Hope because it reveals so much layers to lines that sound otherwise plain or forgettable at first. She's even said so herself that most of her lyrics won't make sense to anyone else but her so it's cool being able to hear her own interpretation of her work and the real life events its based off of. Some of Lana's lines can especially come off as overly abstract so I very much appreciate these little insights because it makes even her most cliche lines personal.
