people really think 13 beaches ( a song that talks about paparazzi) is better than Get Free, a song which references Ride and the iconic line "war in my mind", lmfao I HAVE to laugh

Calculated Lana's most used words on Twitter w an app and the fact that video is the biggest word is downright ironic
Makes me want a visual album With a video for every song

My seasons ranking:
Asylum The whole season's amazing, even the ending was amazing, which is rare for AHS. Coven Murder House Freakshow Roanoke Hotel Cult Let's hope Apocalypse will be amazing, it still has potential to be one of the best tbh.

A little cameo with Stevie where they sing BPBP would be great.

Ive said this before way back in pre release, that Lana should be Cordelia's vision daughter, had she had one. Because lets face it, if Lana was in AHS, she'd be a witch, and obviously a supreme.
She can sing BPBP with Stevie on the piano too.
Say, if there was a spell that could get the witches to see their heaven, instead of their Hell, and Cordelia sees Lana as her child that could have been.

I can't believe there fatasses on here that are trashing Sucker AND trashing others for liking Sucker, and that some people have Top 5's that don't include Need Ur Luv... moral of the story is not everyone has taste especially that person who was disappointed by Superlove like how tf does that happen

This is absolutely true...albeit we don't see LfL as a huge record, it was insanely big for her career in terms of the acclaim it got- especially for being in her 30s (an agist curse for musicians in the modern age it seems) AND it being ~7yrs into her career. Like fuck not even BtD got a grammy nomination...but LfL did.
It even gave her another 100mil video which i don't think there's been one since pre-UV? I could be wrong but to try and say things that infer Lana hasn't done anything is so fucking stupid and ignorant 100mil view video, headlining festivals, plethora of magazine shoots, she basically shut down Brazil by herself alone, iirc people at Camp Flog Gnaw said her show was the most hyped with many people being there solely for her, a fucking grammy nomination, she won the ASCAP songwriters award, one of her most critically acclaimed albums, like fuck..
on top of that so many artists selling more than her would still kill to be her, she doesn't have chart acclaim but she has one of, if not the most dedicated fanbases- this isn't even to mention how highly she's respected within the industry. You can quite literally not find any other artist in the world right now (that isn't a "new" artist) that is loved by every artist from Stevie to Courtney to Lou Reed to Kanye to Taylor, Lorde, fucking Adele, Leonard Cohen's estate...I can't think of a single musician that isn't influenced or doesn't have at least some respect for her
all that in those pink jelly shoes and levi's
it's so fucking perfect and complex and her label wanted a 3 minute pop record with 2 verses, 3 choruses, and a bridge huh
I had this as my lockscreen for a good 6-7months, it invokes such a raw feeling of isolation and sadness, it looks straight out of some rundown 60s apartment, but it's from the late 2000s..just wow
This. This is one of my favorite lyrics she's ever written, it's so simple but the melody is incredible
and the diamonds calls back to Lana's glamorous early direction with high stakes high love ideologies from BtD n HM; whereas the crimson & clover is not only a reference to a vintage song, but comes across to her more earthy raw side we got with UV and 1/2 of LfL
fuck i want it tattooed onto my brain

I am very happy that she follows her vision..I mean in that point even if she tried she wouldn't make a good pop song if she doesnt feel like it..

It's interesting to see how divise VB is - one of my friends who is more into Indierock and heavy guitars never could stand her music but he really likes VB. Another friend, who's a huge fan of her BTD era, hates it and thinks she's making boring 70's music now. So I guess (as with every record) Lana will lose some of her (Pop-)fans with the new album but she'll also gain new fans from other genres.
But all those people who don't like the 2 new songs and who probably won't like NFR can relax - you'll only have to wait 15-18 months before Lana will release a new album which probably will show a complete change in direction again (maybe back to a more Pop-ish sound who knows).

Listened to the interview with Zane and I’ve warmed up to the title and am sooo excited for the record
Especially the part where she talks about how she wanted Jack to keep a lot of the chord progressions cause they were so good
Also that bit about Lana flying the plane and her instructor being like “you don’t trust yourself” and her saying “you’re right, I don’t trust myself” in response is so hilarious
Ugh she is such a likeable and down to earth person

Also guys I cannot believe we actually made it out of the trap beats
Now can people stop shitting on Jack as a producer??? I knew him and Lana would make amazing music together, Jack is such a talented and versatile producer
