Violets for Roses could have been the best classic Lana song since Honeymoon (album) if it had orchestral drums and a bit of harp. It would have been like Video Games grown up. Still an amazing song (considering that I didn't expect to like it so much) and its production is so full compared to the last 2 albums but I just can't help thinking! I would also talk about Living Legend more but @Glitter Boy already made it perfect, so, dream come true! And I'm sorry I keep tagging you but I just want everyone to know who hasn't heard your edits! You can mute me if you like

Btw who acted as Lana in this video? Was it Lel? Because if it was she is an absolute champ for being able to put up with that knowing Lana's stans are spamming Barrie with comments about her. I mean, even tho she's been bothered by it before, I hope she's handling it okay. Same with Barrie.

I love that Lana loves Heat Waves because I've been playing that song nearly daily for a few months now. I didn't even hear it for the first time until mid this year (during our southern hemisphere winter) and it made me think of "it's the middle of winter, but in my mind it's summer"

There aren't really artists I know that I dislike, because if it's the genre I don't like (rap, a lot of pop music, country) then I can't blame it on the artists. And I've never had strong opinions on artists being overrated either. I think "they're overrated" is usually code for "I feel left out" or "I think I'm too cool for this trend". Usually its just artists I don't care for but it's not enough to say I don't like them. I could list many, but it's really just most pop artists or rappers besides the few that I do like the voice or style of but not the music. Sometimes I keep up with the news of popular artists just because I like to see their success even if I'm not a listener.

New song is great! I love the style of the music video. I'm just so annoyed that all of these amazing new punk pop songs are like 2 minutes long. Don't y'all know that song bridges exist? Sometimes they were the best part of the songs in this genre.

I feel this way but with the intros, I'm tired of her not exploring mood introduction with intros. Ooo. Maybe this is how I can enjoy the song

Lately yes, they used to be amazing, but since the lust for life era (after that witchy photo with the red background) they've gotten less and less inspired. Just a few seconds looking on his instagram always shows me that Lana's shoots are the least interesting that he's been doing.

Your Girl. It leaked slowly over a couple of years I think? And it was so cool to hear how fans were piecing together the stems to make it a full song. I actually prefer one of the fanmade mix/mash songs to the full song that leaked! Other big moments for me were the demos for Freak, Ultraviolence, Sad Girl, The Blackest Day, and then also Thunder. They're really just for personal reasons because I'm so attached to those songs and Thunder showed me that Lana was still making exactly the songs I wish she'd continue with. I'm also really close with Wild One. I never expected that one to have such a huge impact on me.
