Well I think it was better than Hotel's first episode, but all the rest still beat this one so far  
I personally think clowns are so overdone, especially clown gangs. It's kinda just the worst of everything that went across the media this year (the killer clown shit and a shitload of trump), but I am still holding hope. 
 
 
These honestly make me want to watch the next episodes more

Theories:
 
1. Since all the clown costumes were based on Ally's phobias - her therapist seems like one of the suspect cause he was the only one in whom Ally confided all her deepest fears in.
 
2. Kai might be the sperm donor for Ally & Ivy's son Ozzy). That's the reason he's so interested in their lives but they don't really know him. (Winter asks the kid about his real dad & he answers that his moms never mentioned him)
 
3. Winter Anderson (Kai's sister) might be the mastermind behind the plan, not Kai. She went to Florida to campaign for Hillary & we know that Twisty's story took place in Florida where he became an urban legend - hence the clowns. Also she dresses like a member of Manson's cult.
 
4. In the beginning, we see Kai stop in front of a room in his house to smell a rose attached on the door. It might belong to someone crucial in the following plot (I'm hoping it is the Kai's & Winter's mother portrayed by by queen Frances Conroy or something. She might be the link to the siblings' abnormal behaviour)

But also, at the same time I wish it stayed as the original horror sounding Something Real, I want that to leak so bad

I'm glad they brought back the intro. It's the best part about sitting down to watch it. I love how they switched up the music too, like Freakshow did.

Her jazzy cinematic songs are SO underrated. I actually never get bored of I Can Fly, Big Eyes, 24. 
She needs another big movie to record for (or 10)
 
Also, the jazz version of Y&B in the great gatsby was SO good. I have no idea who sung it but I wish Lana had recorded a full version of it- and even better, if she had actually been the one to sing that in the party scene during the movie onstage, the movie would be 10 times better

she'll appear like 15 seconds in a video the rest will be footage from the movie and she'll tweet "Here's something to calm you down until Masochism get's released"

That and WTWWAWWKD had some great vocals. I also love the drums and the chorus.

I'm just gonna assume this is an unpopular opinion....
 
I prefer AKA Yayo. I love Paradise Yayo, but AKA has the edge for me.

I don't like the way Lana's music videos look during the LFL era.
 
I don't know what it is...but the quality is dreadful and blurry. I get she's going for the retro aesthetic but it just looks...off. The National Anthem video was perfection because it genuinely looked like something from the 60's.

I think October 27th

i know i'm so late to the party (even my mom was like: 'you still haven't seen STRANGER THINGS'?) but i was sick few days ago and stayed at home and watched the whole season on netflix

actually i thought it would be better, like muuuch better, since everybody was talking about it. after two episodes i turned off tv. but i gave it another chance and after three episodes i couldn't stop watching (thank god it has only 8 episodes)

i love aesthetics - 80s, music, clothes, colours... everything! i also love some characters - Barb (so sad she was in like 2 episodes), Jonathan, Dustin and Lucas

what i don't like is - idk i feel like the show would be better if there would be ONLY secret lab mystery or ONLY horror monster, i think both is quite too much
and how could Nancy choose Steve?! Jonathan is waaay better - not only he looks better but also he's not a total duche...
i also don't like Eleven
