@Embach you deserve it the spirit of lanaboards flows through you and so does the candid joy and whimsy of a fan forum that many won't experience as the internet and virtual spaces continue to evolve we should all feel lucky to be here at the same time to enjoy and consume music and culture alongside each other and for these moments of brief and fragile shelter from a world that can feel so cold and hostile sometimes. i know i do. little traditions like this are so meaningful and i dont think im alone in hoping they can continue forever so much love and warmth to all winners and nominees

Oh my god. What the fuck. I'm actually lost for words. I don't know what to say, seriously. You know, I didn't really came to the awards hoping for a win because all I was looking for was a lot of fun and great company - which we got, it was really awesome and chaotic. Francesco, you're so damn funny, your humor was truly the peak of the night, each post got funnier, I've never had much fun laughing and reading your posts. It was joyful to read ultrablvd's posts as well, your humor is also amazing. Please, you two must win an award next year!!!

I love this place. I really wish I had joined earlier when I discovered this website in 2020. The time didn't feel right then though. Here, I truly feel myself. All weird and delusional, maybe it's that way because it's the Internet, most of us are here behind our screens with Lana as our profile photo icon, all of us either smiling, laughing, crying and vibing, sharing our love and admiration for a one certain person. That's the closest we could get to world peace. All of my life I had waited for a perfect place like this. And I'm so happy that I found it. This place changed my life and I think it made me a better person as well.

Looking all those awards I've won, I really do not think I deserved to win them (maybe except Most Active because I spend embarrassing amount of time here posting and commenting) because I haven't been here as a member for a long time and I feel that other members were more deserving of that because they have defined this place and I admire them so much. They make this place whole. Many of my fellow nominees in different categories were people I already loved when I was just a lurker. To be nominated alongside them was already a huge honor because perhaps they were the true reason I finally joined the forum.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who voted for me in this category or any other category I was nominated. It's heartwarming and sometimes flattering as well some people here were thinking of me while nominating and/or voting for me in those award categories. I'm very grateful for the warm welcome and support I have received since I joined this forum a bit over a year and a half ago. You're all so kind and friendly which is really heartwarming, even the winners of the rudest and dramatic awards are inside all awesome and cool, the pinnacle of the forum's humor and drama - which without I can't really imagine this place. The world leaders should all learn something from you everyone because I feel like this is our happy place which could make this world better. Like, the passion and commitment for this community is really admirable.

Shoutout to the fellow nominees of Lipster Of The Year Award:

Pantene123 - you're so cool, you were truly the highlight of 2024 here. I'll never forget those jaw-dropping moments where we were reading all of these riveting insights on Lana's unreleased music which without the fandom would be so different. Your humor is also great, keep up the good work!

Mer - you're so iconic. You're a true superstar of this fandom. I love reading your status updates and your endless support for Taylor Swift is a great example for being loyal fan and ignoring all the haters. Congratulations for all your sweeps, so deserved!

Dark Angel - you sweet beautiful soul, I love your enchanting presence here, I admire your love and knowledge for Lizzy Grant, I have learned a lot about Lana from you.

Elle - I can't imagine this place without you. You're the rock of this forum. A goddess. You've carried this place for almost 10 years and your work is worth all the admiration. It's an honor for Lana to have a fan like you, I really hope you'll meet her this year as well! Congratulations for your deserved sweeps as well!

Also, some highlights and stunning moments of those awards - I'm so fucking happy for venice biotch, she came and swept the awards she was truly deserving of. Your designed rats are truly the cultural phenomenon of this site for years to remember. I was rooting for the thread to win since its inception. BethDufreneByTheBayouByYou winning their second consecutive award for Best Username shows how amazingly creative some users can be. I'm so happy that The Stargirl Pinky won the Bartender Award because this whole time they were praying to win this award and when they deservingly won they were so happy, it made me really joyful as well. I'm so happy that DeadSeaOfMercury and Pico Ocean Boulevard won the Underrated Member awards, they're the people I have already admired before actually joining the forum. Ivory Almonds winning their awards was a special moment as well, I can't imagine the site without them. Today, there were so many other winners here as well who truly deserved their winner and runner-up awards, I'm so happy for you. I'm happy for all the people who were nominated as well, these were all deserved and I hope to see you and other people nominated next year too! This speech is getting so long, sorry for being too sentimental sometimes, if I performed this onstage I think I would have been kicked out already, lol. But nevermind, my endless gratefulness and joy is never enough to put into words.

I'm honored to share this award with all of the fellow nominees - @Pantene123 @Mer @Dark Angel and @Elle - you were the ones to truly define the community and the forum in 2024. You're all such gorgeous people inside and out, so kind and friendly, also with great taste in music. All of your posts were worth waiting and reading for. I love you all so much to the moon & back and I'm sending all of my kisses and hugs to you.

    Thank you. ♡

The only artist in history to impact me as greatly as Lana has, maybe more so. Discovering Twin Peaks during my first year of university was life changing. His work has had a huge impact on my creativity, and his outlook on life is greatly inspiring. What a unique and incredible soul he had, and his art is the greatest to ever be captured on film. No one saw the world like he did and we are so lucky to have witnessed some of the wildness that his mind had to offer. He managed to delve into the darkest parts of the human soul in the most thrilling ways, while always making sure that the humour and the light stayed just as prominent and powerful as the evil that surrounds us. Rest in peace you magical man, thank you for everything you've given the world. <3

Idk if this has been said before, but I’ve always thought the name of this poem was not only about fires in LA, but also the camp fire that happened in November 2018. Maybe the name is just a coincidence, but it destroyed almost the entire town of Paradise in Northern California. It was the most deadly and destructive California fire at the time. The 2025 LA fires are now the most destructive, hopefully not more deadly.

to me at least it feels like something is coming soon because album cycles ramping up always seems to coincide with like... large sweeping collective emotional shifts that everyone seems to be on the same page about. all the people close to me are really suddenly just absolutely going through it and everywhere you look it feels like things have taken a very abrupt and dark turn! hate it actually!!!!!

the irony of hollywood burning while america is going into its darkest time has to mean something. it's crazy to think about really. i hope everyone got out okay, even if their homes burned down or they lost things. you can rebuild and rebuy, you can't do that with your life or your pets

If you’ve been following Lana closely for years like most of u have u have to know that’s she’s obviously talking about finding a husband who wasn’t fame/money/clout hungry. Literally that’s it.

also clear to me as a person who’s read just about every public thing she’s said for many years that she is, for better or worse, exactly the kind of person who could be married to someone w very diff political beliefs to her own and have no prob w that.

I think it’s important to remember not all republicans are trump supporters (Not saying she’s either or is) She’s probably more in the middle of the political spectrum if I had to guess, but who knows. I still believe she holds the same left leaning morals and values about many social issues, I can’t imagine she would change her mind on those beliefs.

I don’t think she necessarily leans republican. She endorsed biden just four years ago. Eight years ago she was very vocal against trump and kanye. When she talks about “morals and values”, I don’t think she talks about political positions. Rather, I think she talks about the hypocrisy, addiction to scandal and honestly outright crime that has penetrated hollywood. Yes, it may sound conspiratorial and qanon-y to talk about the evil celebrity elites, but I think the recent diddy scandals (which are just the cherry on top) are a perfect example of this. And I think this is one of the reasons why the democrats lost this year - it is the average joe’s instinct to reject the said “elites” and be suspicious of them. Republicans offered that (in words) while democrats embraced beyonce. Lana was very open about this in Dark but Just a Game and I think her interactions with many celebrities are what shaped her views rather than her suddenly turning anti-gay, baptist maga pro-lifer
