Why is it getting hate?? When there is a full on 4 minute sermon recorded on an iPhone two tracks earlier. THAT is unnecessary lol. It's gorgeous like the emotion is so palpable and Jon Batiste is genuinely one of the most talented bandleaders alive today. I've always found the interludes to be self-indulgent for better or worse but this one is the best one she's ever done point blank period.

not ocean blvd on track to be her biggest debut on spotify and here i was worried it'll do less than 10m...very impressive considering this is her least accessible album

I’ve found with every Lana album that my expectations/the adrenaline from the first listen totally clouds my mind. I can never decipher exactly how I feel about it until a few days later. Today, it’s becoming a lot clearer for me as well.
