Kind late to the discussion, but if Lana would one day release her unreleased songs, they would sound a bit different since she sings in a different way these days. I bet she could make her voice sound "girly" if she wanted to, but it doesn't feel like her anymore, not where she is at the moment. I'm not saying that's something bad, I think it would be interesting to hear them with her more mature singing style. Maybe I would still prefer the old versions if it felt like her old voice suit better for the storytelling. I feel like I'm rambling, sorry if you didn't get what I said lol.

I get you, but the last part you wrote is what I mean, hehe. Some songs on the album had better lyrics than others, but I’m liking the lines for the new NFR songs a lot more.

I really appreciate how she's been working on her lyric writing. It shows that she's been writing a lot lately, I think her poetry book and coming with ideas for a musical helped her to evolve/go back to her roots a lot. Because the lyrical content in these songs are a big part of why I'm so excited for the album, it was as if Lust For Life was her small dip and now she's coming back up again.

I know I'm late, I was stuck on a delayed train and got home hangry and needed to take care of the cats I'm watching as well, so I was like "Nah, I'll listen to it tomorrow", but then I saw a clip of HTD on my Twitter timeline so I naturally let it play and OMG, I immediately changed my mind when I heard her voice slightly crack at "but I love that man like nobody can", and I could only think of that NFR will be the best album she'll put out so far if it has MAC and VB on it, and I love that she's so honest in her lyrics, it's like as if she's not trying to build up a vision or a mysterious aura this time, it's just her honest thoughts and I'm sorry that this was the longest sentence you've ever read but I'm just SO EXCITED!!! :excited: :excited: :excited: And now I'll actually watch the whole performance and listen to the whole song, brb.

Honestly, I don't think there'll be one. I think she'll just drop the album, go on a small tour and then back to the studio again. It just feels like she's really laid back this time and just want to focus on her music and have fun in life.
