Why it's extra special to me:
First of all, I'm simply amazed that Lana wrote this. It's so beautiful and illustrates a feeling very well. Something that I've been feeling too. That you try to stay on course for your goal, you were so into reaching them.... and you may never reach them... or if you finally did, it wasn't like you thought it would be and your dreams and goals just shatter. And then you're kinda lost because you don't know where to go or what to do now. And boy, I feel so lost and confused in this moment of my life.
It's just so beautiful to me.

As a woman, I want to believe this (whatever "this" is - #MeToo? Sexual harassment brought up in media? ) but I know very well that this is not going to change a lot. Maybe it will change a tiny bit in the western world, but I doubt it. There will always be bastards out there, thinking they can do whatever they want to whoever they want. Just look at the effing US president. The way he acts and says clearly demonstrates to the public that it's "ok" to grab women "by the pussy".
Disgusting. And just thinking how millions(?) of girls and women are treated around the world is even more disgusting.
And honestly, I don't think I'll ever stop looking behind me, even if it's broad daylight and I'm alone on the street. And I'll probably never stop thinking that the guy a few meters behind me on the street might be a groper or a rapist. Even though I know he probably isn't and I shouldn't think like that. And I try to not walk faster because of him.
That's just how the world is, at least to me. I know something could happen and I don't want it to happen to me, or anyone else.

Still feels so fresh when I listen to it all the way through. I love how the record is sort of enigmatic as well. Lana just released it and didn't do much promo or interviews for it and we know the least about it compared to the rest of her albums, which is probably intentional as the songs and videos reference wanting to go unnoticed/living away from the limelight (Honeymoon and HBTB vid, HBTB, GKIT, SS etc.).

These few words are describing a picture so beautifully and I never really thought that the stars always chase the sun and will miss seeing it forever... until Lana said so.

i was there. 4th time seeing Lana. she did pretty good, wish she could've performed her other songs tho. she kept saying "damnnnn damnnnn!!!!" cuz of the curfew. also inbetween songs she was definitely sniffling i could hear it through her mic lmao. also my phone got stolen at this festival but its okay at least i got to see the queen again. tbh so glad she didn't perform ultraviolence. i also loved when the crowds energy went crazy when diet mtn dew started.

I know it's just a a moment in time but it looks like she is inhabiting the song! That's a good thing. Many times she looks like a high school girl wandering the stage holding the mike and laughing. She should let every song take her over and perform it from the inside out. Bowie could perform in a tee shirt and you were still transfixed by his performance because he became one with the song. Own it Lana!! Uh oh I'm starting to sound like Oprah. Bye.

  like, i get why you wouldn't like the asap collabs (and some ''weird'' songs like tnc which sound different) since i guess they're more of an ''acquired taste''? or something like coachella with meh production but hating on gods&monsters, pretty when you cry (uhm?), west coast(uhm??) and most importantly, which had me speechless btw, hating on young and beautiful wtf? how do you even dislike a song as pure and perfect as young and beautiful? and i also saw get free pop up a few times but i'm not trying to start a fight today    the only song (released) i don't like is i can fly (really nothing special, doesn't sound good to me, big eyes is much better), everything else i like

halsey actually does that ! she lets her VIP ticket holders vote for a special song not on the setlist, they're divided into two teams to see who gets their choice, i know the Denver show had 100 Letters & the Phx had Ghost

The legendary Born to Die is almost at 300 fucking weeks on the Billboard 200, but it has been out for second week and Lust for Life is dropping fast. This is homophobic iTunes needs to put her catalog on sale to save the queen, or she should've done tour packages with the album 

I know set lists will never work like this but I wish they were generated by fan votes. Different for each city would be even better. 
I am SURE our favourites that we never hear would be on there if we all got to vote, but still. its impossible
