I totally agree with you. Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic song and I love it to pieces, but it just doesn't...fit Ultraviolence. The rest of the album is (mostly) really dark (bar Sad Girl & Fucked My Way (kind of)) but Florida Kilos is so upbeat and positive that it feels like the black sheep of the album. It's a really clever song nonetheless, but I think it would've been better as an unreleased track, replaced by Is This Happiness or Flipside on the deluxe version of the album.

I thought it was "Last words before you went and jumped again". And can we please discuss how fucking clever this song is? The lyrics, the melody, the voice...it's like Summertime Sadness' clever-er sister.

its BASICALLY confirmed...she caved tweets saying it was coming out October 10th and replied to someone asking when it would be out with a balloon emoji (October 10th is also Marina's birthday). Neon Gold Records (a very good friend of Marina's) also tweeted 'very excited for @@marinasdiamonds birthday' with the same balloon emoji... it's not official confirmation, but it's the closest thing we have to a date atm. I have a feeling that we'll get another snippet before this month is up, however.

Like I said before, it makes 0 sense for a reputable news account to fake this in order to gain interest. 4. Marina works in odd ways.

I highly doubt that it's a fake, the account is a news account and it wouldn't make sense for them to fake this for their 15 minutes of fame, then have their reputation as a source destroyed.

It proves that the tweet wasn't a fake, the vine shows that the author of the DM was indeed Marina and she did respond with 'soon' or something.

Lana is technically correct in saying 'sang' instead of 'sung'. Sang is the the simple past, sung is the past participle. Either way works, neither is more correct than the other.

I finally understood how clever and analytical this song is!

I mean that my favourite songs from the album are usually unpopular amongst fans; I often see a lot of hate for G&R, DMD and BE.
