I'm really interested in hearing the pre-Auerbach version of the songs. I absolutely love his production of the album but I'm curious to see what the songs would sound like if someone else produced. Would they still be such dark songs?

HAERTS is a New-York-based, indie pop group consisting of members from Germany, England and the United States. The group is comprised of Nini Fabi, Ben Gebert, Garrett Lenner, Derek McWilliams and Jonathan Schmidt. Their style has been described as '1980's hip + 2014's gloom'. forgot to mention, Alex Metric remix of GFG has been uploaded to SoundCloud: the girls have officially confirmed that their debut album is to be title Lucid Dreaming and will (finally!) be released on 2nd February 2015! if you're from the UK, you can preorder the standard edition here, although if you're from outside the UK, you'll have to wait. no word on a deluxe edition as of yet.

I listen to at least one song from the album every day. As mentioned before, the album is too heavy for repeated daily listening, so I prefer just having one song to listen to (usually Ultraviolence, West Coast, Florida Kilos or Guns and Roses).

The ONLY 'problem' with the album is that it's so dark and painfully sad...it's hard to listen when you're in a good mood.
