Why is nobody talking about Cheek to Cheek?! It's such a nice album, I didn't know that she had such a powerful voice!

I think it's because there are so many BtD demos available that the Paradise and UV ones aren't available; Lana's record team got a lot smarter with securely storing their songs on the internet. Besides, I don't think Paradise has any demos as Lana said in an interview something about Paradise being recorded 'all in one take', suggesting no demos were produced for it. The only one that (apparently) exists is the Laptop Demo of Cola.

I'm really interested in hearing the pre-Auerbach version of the songs. I absolutely love his production of the album but I'm curious to see what the songs would sound like if someone else produced. Would they still be such dark songs?

HAERTS is a New-York-based, indie pop group consisting of members from Germany, England and the United States. The group is comprised of Nini Fabi, Ben Gebert, Garrett Lenner, Derek McWilliams and Jonathan Schmidt. Their style has been described as '1980's hip + 2014's gloom'. I listen to at least one song from the album every day. As mentioned before, the album is too heavy for repeated daily listening, so I prefer just having one song to listen to (usually Ultraviolence, West Coast, Florida Kilos or Guns and Roses).

The ONLY 'problem' with the album is that it's so dark and painfully sad...it's hard to listen when you're in a good mood.
