@@Heaux I REALLY would love her to do like a 2 CD rerelease; disc one being the original album & disc two being the same album redone completely. I mean, it'll never happen, but...

I don't want Lana to go back to the BTD/P sound at all.

The reason i want a reissue is because i think the album deserves way more recognition and needs to be heard by way more people but i want the original to be heard not a re-do, id love to hear the new versions she already did of those few tracks but i want them to leak instead.

tbh the only type of re-release i want is the exact same album reissued with all of the old videos uploaded on Youtube or like in a deluxe boxset. I'd want her to bleach her hair again too and maybe do new big budget videos for a few of her favorite tracks.
The album would lose all its magic if she rerecorded any of it tho.

HONESTLY the best album she's ever made & one of my favourites of all time. She combines the clever lyricism of the Sirens era with the unique production of latter albums. Despite what she said about her ideas for the album being different to Kahne's, I still believe that this album is absolutely perfect - I can't fault it at all. It's absolutely criminal that it didn't receive a wider release and that the general public know her for Born to Die as opposed to this fabulous record.

What I find so interesting is that the music of this album doesn't fit the time it was released...this album doesn't feel like it was recorded in 2008 or released in 2010 while electronic music and Adele & Rihanna were topping the charts

does anyone have the original file of the You Lost Me cover,  like before someone ruined it with the cropped-in instrumental?

If I was Sky I would've fought that hard because Sky's version is better vocally (you can actually understand what she's saying) and it's more brooding/minimalist. It feels like a mixture of Traces and Sad Dream

I enjoy their relationship because it always looks like he's caressing her face and fawning over her having weird braids or shoveling food into her mouth and she's just like meh
