The chorus is so unexpected an is such a soothing, uplifting tonal shift yet it's a bit haunting. This album has so many unexpected melodic turns and production touches hidden beneath the top surface. Get Free, in my opinion, is the best song she's ever released. I was weary of saying that yesterday when first hearing it but now, after several listens, and still being blown away every time, I can confirm that Get Free is Lana's magnum opus. Goodbye OTTR and Shades of Cool.

Those lyrics make me want to cry. Wow I can't believe people were doubting her ability to change her narrative.

Actually my straight brother begged me to play Ride, Lust For Life, and Love last week when we were on a 3-hour car ride. He's always low-key loved her.
 
And OMG GET THIS, my sister loves Coachella - Not On The Album In My Mind and she usually can't stand Lana unless she's trying to nap. (She also loved LFL for about three weeks but is bored of it now, same).

I know she's still developing her live performances of LFL songs but she better eventually be performing Get Free, Heroin, Summer Bummer, GBA, WAR, and 13 Beaches live as often as she performs all these 6 year old songs from BTD.

Apple Music has the most inaccurate lyrics out there. Idk who the fuck puts them down, but he or she should be fired.

Barrie isn't headline worthy, imho lmao, nor has he died (I don't think at least?? ). I'd say Lou Reed, Amy Winehouse, or Kurt Cobain, one of Lana's many inspirations whom lost their precious lives at such a young age because of drugs or suicide.
